Ever try and edit a post with one of them? Tap, tap, tap, trying to erase something and the curser keeps jumping around. Then the light turns green so you just hit send. Get used to it. It happens. Not the first time and it surely won't be the last. Here's another tip for you before you spout off next time. Iphones, Droids etc. sometimes have a mind of their own with spell check. You can spell a word correctly and it will sometimes change it as the screen scrolls down. Too bad you can't put a signature line in your posts from an Iphone that says: "This post sent from my Iphone. Please excuse any misspellings" Not that you have ever seen this or anything like it, right? Now you can climb down off your high horse.

You are a fine one to talk when you did exactly the same thing. As I said, get used to it. I post a lot from my Iphone as I'm sure others do. The tiny keyboards can be difficult to use and see sometimes. Usually when someone criticizes spelling, it's because they have run out of content. Similar to Godwins Law. I think I'll call it Kelps Law from now on.

(post 68 for the slower thinkers) Pretty weak Kelp. Maybe time to retire for the evening? I certainly can - I own your ass on the topic. You initiated the grammar argument, incompetently, when you couldn't refute the argument. Now you try to pass that to others? And note I flamed you for that, not for your inability to write. I'm rarely concerned with people's ability to spell, save when they trumpet their great (in their own mind) writing ability. I'm a lot more concerned with people's inability to think or understand how to use evidence.
Gravitymaster 0 #87 April 19, 2012 I refuted the argument, not that there was anything to refute. Seemed pretty clear to me. Someone claimed single mother should be considered heros. I simply said I didn't consider those who are little tramps etc. to be heros. That's when the twisting and misunderstanding from someone who clearly demonstrated English was not his native language started. You then jumped in and started with "Kelps Law". I don't know what it is you think you won, but if it helps you sleep, congradulations. ( That wa intentionally misspelled, so calm down.
Gravitymaster 0 #88 April 19, 2012 BTW Kelp, if you go back to when your little self-proclaimed victory started and re-read what i said, it's very clear that I wasn't talking about all single mothers. I then clarified what I said several times but that wasn't sufficient for you and the others who were more interested in claiming some sort of victory banner it seems. ianmdrennan 2 #89 April 19, 2012 Quote That's when the twisting and misunderstanding from someone who clearly demonstrated English was not his native language started. Incorrect on both counts. I'll try as best as I can to help you understand my interpretation of your writings, emphasis in bold mine to highlight the issue. The original quote Quote Does anyone actually think that Ann Romney has worked a day in her life? Ordering around nannies doesn't count as work. The sad truth is the majority of rich people in the US simply inherited their business and/or wealth. Horatio Alger was a fiction author. The real hero in society is the single mother working 2 jobs, but they don't usually make it on Fox News or CNN. Your response Quote So some little tramp who goes out and has unprotected monkey sex with an uneducated deadbeat who takes off and doesn't provide any support, who then is forced to find a job and have a strange daycare provider is a hero? And a woman who uses birth control or abstainence, waits until she is in a commited relationship, waits until she and her husband can afford to have children, chooses to stay home and raise them instead of dumping them in daycare and having someone else raise her child is a scumbag? Now the way it reads in context, like it or not, is that you're referring to single moms as tramps. That may not have been what you 'meant' but its certainly what you wrote. It's possible you're referring to something else earlier in the thread, but I don't recall seeing anything to that nature. My response to the above Quote Wow. I didn't realize that every single mother out there fell into this category..... War on woman, indeed. After which you proceeded to get into some not so subtle PA's, and then attacks on my native language (which by the way happens to be English, even though I can speak another language). The fact that this is the path you took leads me to believe that you are incapable of discussing a point, or defending a debate without 'name calling' because you either lack the skills to do so, or don't actually have a comprehensive response. In addition, I don't actually care about spelling or 'grammer' but as others have said, if you're going to make snide (and inaccurate) comments about peoples language then you better do it properly or risk looking like a fool. Now, I have little doubt you'll have some snide remark to make to this post, will likely call me some name, and then carry on with the usual speakers corner bickering. Personally, I'd love it if you proved me wrong though, and actually discussed the issue at hand. Ian ps: For the record, I think being a full time stay home mom IS a full time job and worthy of respect. pps: Damn you for making me go over my quota of speakers corner posts for the month Performance Designs Factory Team
Gravitymaster 0 #90 April 19, 2012 Well, you are just simply wrong in your interpetation of what I said. Even when I clarified it twice for you, you continued to claim I meant something else. That told me either you were intentionally being argumentative or you are incapable of discussing something. Seems to me that once you made up your mind that you knew better than I did, what I meant, my only conclusion was you were either being argumentative or you were incapable of understanding. That's when I gave you the benefit of the doubt and concluded English may not have been your native language. i don't know you so it was fairly easy to conclude. Seems you have made a lot of incorrect assumptions and were unwilling to accept it when I clarified what I meant several times. That's your problem, not mine.
