"We have a president who I think is a nice guy, but he spent too much time at Harvard, perhaps," Mitt Romney, April 5, 2012.

Romney actually spent more time at Harvard than Obama (4 years vs 3 for Obama)

In addition, three of Romney's sons have post-graduate degrees from Harvard

So? Tomorrow he'll say that Obama didn't spend enough time at school.

Probably
But Mitt was not in the program for community organizing

Well, it wouldn't be his fault. The weather does get quite nasty up there, doesn't it? Besides, is there anyone who knows how much time Obama spent at school ...or how he did while he was there?

It would be nice to have an educated President who has actually run something other than his mouth.

Despite his 4 years at Harvard, Mitt doesn't seem to have picked up that 4 > 3.

What's bizarre is your comparison of one to the other and thinking that Romney's time spent has squat to do with Obama's time spent.

Nada.
My reality and yours are quite different.

Great job reading that idiocy into a simple statement. Excellent job.

He wasn't a math major.

What is it about Harvard educations that cause people to think 3>4 and 209 years of precedent mean "unprecedented?"

I know what you'd like it to mean, but I understand Mitt's shot at your hero. Just compare the records of the 2 candidates and you'll see who's been successful in the real world and who lives in a fantasy land on Pennsylvania Ave. called Hopetychangeyville.

Santorum and Romney both seem to think that their education makes them a man of the people while education leads Democrats to the ivory tower.
Come to think of it, most politicians feel this way.

I'd say getting elected President demonstrates one has achieved a rather high level of success in their life.

I guess that's just me.

Well, Santorum's comment about college was really beyond bizarre.

Only if you have R after your name. Haven't you picked up on this by now?

I think character and relationships have more to do with getting elected potus, but in Obama's case his relationships and character are questionable and not well known to most. Obama got elected because he wasn't Bush, he wasn't vetted by the media, and he was black. I didn't vote for him because I did not like his friends, his wifes comments, and his policies. Over 90% of the black people voted for him, that number alone means the biggest racists are those that voted for him because he was black.
If Obama was running after a democratic president, or someone like Reagan he does not get elected. The far left used a bad financial time in US history to push a radical on the American people in hopes of breaking the US from it's traditional values and government.

So I guess you think a person just getting to be a CEO is successful too?

Isn't it interesting how the left and the media were in such a tizzy trying to get hold of George Bush's National Guard records, but they don't seem to be the least bit upset that Obama has never released his college records?

Um, yeah, I do. I never said Romney was unsuccessful. In fact, just the opposite. He's been phenomenally successful. But so has Obama.

Not surprising at all. The right wing was shocked - appalled - outraged! that Obama would not release his college records, while defending Bush's right to keep his past a secret. Next I am sure they will defend Mitt's right to keep HIS records secret. Same shit, just change the R's and D's around.

Blacks voted for Kerry at a rate very close to the rate they voted for Obama. They did turn out at a greater rate for Obama. Make of that what you will.

The fact that you think Obama is far left says more about you than him. He's pretty centerist.
