The rst from Wiki: Public Policy Polling (PPP) is an American polling firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.[1][2][3] PPP was founded in 2001 by businessman and Democratic pollster Dean Debnam, the firm's current president and chief executive officer.[1][4] The company's surveys use Interactive Voice Response (IVR), an automated questionnaire used by other polling firms such as SurveyUSA and Rasmussen Reports.[5] PPP's polls have been described as "as accurate as live-interview surveys," ranking fourth among IVR operations in the 2008 U.S. presidential election by The Wall Street Journal.[5] Although criticized by some Republicans as having a Democratic bias, PPP has not exhibited a bias in its polling results, according to Nate Silver of Fivethirtyeight.com. Silver says PPP actually had a small pro-Republican bias in its 2010 polling results

Marinus 0 #30 March 13, 2012 Yes, if you want to hide a Muslim in the White house, take someone who potentially looks the part and listens to the name Barack Hussein. Make sure his last name isn't the same as the name of Enemy of the Stan no 1 Osama, and no one but the smartest people will suspect there's a lot of connection between BHO and Islam. I wouldn't be surprised if BHO doesn't care a lot about his own religion, btw.

CanuckInUSA 0 #33 March 13, 2012 Wow so now Hollywood equals the entire state of California? Interesting. Hollywood is nothing but a place where they make things up (nothing wrong there when they are up front about their fiction, but how often do they try to pass off their make believe worlds as reality). Speaking of reality, look me up when you also decide to join the real world. I never would have thought that you would be the type who equates Hollywood with the entire state of California, but I guess I was mistaken. pirana 0 #34 March 13, 2012 QuoteQuoteQuoteThe republicans then call the democrats they went to school with "elitist" and ridicule them for wasting their money on those evil, ivory tower indoctrination mills. It all depends on what they were studying. Were they studying to be "Makers" in society (things like engineering) or were they studying to be "Takers" (things like Liberal Arts Majors, Political and Social Science Majors). "Makers" go on to contribute to society, "Takers" are taught only one thing. To protest when someone threatens to take away their entitlements. There is nothing wrong with those who are studying to be the next generation of "Makers". We need more people studying to be "Makers". Unfortunately society (well at least on this north side of the border) only seems to know how to produce the next generation of "Takers". Oh that's the most fucked up thing I read all day and I just got finished reading a first year college student's screenplay. BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of dollars circulate in this country every year because of things made by liberal arts, poli and social science majors. You have a warped view of the world my friend. Well, when things start to go south (ha), people look for a boogey man in anybody not like them. It isn't our fellow middle class folks south of the Mason-Dixon line that are fucking over northeners; and it isn't honkies or kikes or wops or spics or niggers. Those are all distractions welcomed by the people responsible for the screwing over of the middle class - 80% of whom have actually lost ground financially - regardless of skin color, religion, or ethnic background." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley

Seems like they're doing a lot better than just waiting for the next handout. Of course they could do real jobs. They could make things, solid things! With furnaces and hammers and sheet metal. Things like... cars! Or airliners! Then they'd never need government money. CanuckInUSA 0 #37 March 14, 2012 You are the one who is claiming I am dissing California where I said nothing absolutely nothing about the state of California. Here is a little recap for you: 1) I have not posted here for weeks. 2) Last night I posted my opinion that people in schools are learning to either be "Makers" in life or "Takers". 3) Within a minute or two of my first post here in weeks, I was met with rude insults from a so called moderator. 4) I said back to this so called moderator "coming from themselves who live in that make believe world called Hollywood, I'll take that as a compliment". 5) Then you decide I'm dissing the state of California. Since you lead in with bullshit, you shouldn't be surprised at what was thrown back at you. You get out what comes out, sometimes negatively correlated with what you put in. Depends on who stumbles into the thread, or whether you post something too late in a thread for people to care. I've written many posts here that I've put a fair amount of thought into trying to be balanced and making sure my thoughts come out clear. A handful of times it has sparked interesting discussion but more often than not these posts just get lost in the noise. Hopefully someone found them interesting and they weren't a complete waste of time. I don't as much anymore simply because I feel like I've said what I have to say regarding most of the recurring topics that come up. Negative attention reigns supreme though if all you're looking for is "Re: [your name]". If you want to make sure you get people responding to you just make short, sarcastic, accusatory, or otherwise inflammatory comments.

But when Santorum, while campaigning listens to a radical preacher, then we need to get upset because clearly he's being influenced.
