billvon 3,132 #4 March 12, 2012 So far we have felons, whores and sluts for democrats, and homophobes, terrorists and uneducated dropouts for republicans. Any other stereotypes? Surely you can throw a gun-o-phobe reference in there.
tkhayes 348 #5 March 12, 2012 QuoteAnd it looks quite likely that felons gave Franken his narrow Senate victory... QuoteThe six month vote recount in the Senate race was a torturous process. The morning after November 4, 2008 election, Senator Norm Coleman lead Al Franken by 725 votes. Correcting for typos cut Coleman’s margin to 215, and a recount by all the counties reduced it further to 192. Once the state canvassing board had looked into the intent of voters and counted 953 previously rejected absentee ballots, the final total had reversed that count and handed Franken a 312 vote victory. Looks to me like a RECOUNT gave him the victory. I did not know that 'felons' could 'give' anyone a victory....but a nice headline for Faux News. I have no issue with any and all Citizens being able to vote, even convicted felons on death row. Look at all the trouble it would rid the process of.... JohnRich 4 #11 March 12, 2012 It's funny to note the liberal responses to voter fraud by a Democrats here, and compare it to the other voter fraud case posted here recently (Republicans tough on voter fraud) in which voter fraud occured by a Republican. My oh my, what a difference a party affiliation makes. Just as I suspected.

The title of your post implied that you weren't starting this thread to discuss voter fraud, but that you were starting it to discuss the voting preferences of felons. In that measure, you got exactly the responses you were fishing for. If you wanted to talk about something else, you should have said so.Do you want to have an ideagasm? "Obviously, these are average numbers. More heavily Democratic areas such as Minneapolis-St. Paul would very likely have percentages of felons voting for Democrats that are above these rates. If heavily Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul were just 3 percentage points above the average, than felon voting in just this one county gave Franken his win." Hahah.Do you want to have an ideagasm? rehmwa 2 #19 March 12, 2012 Instead of all the infighting here, can't we all just agree that Franken is a joke (except when he's trying to be funny) and it's a travesty that any methodology resulted in him getting any kind of leadership position. Or even worse, that the reps here couldn't even find an inanimate carbon rod to put on the ballet that could have easily beat the loser. He should have been beaten, -even in spite of- the shenanigans that happened. Minnesota is giving old Chicago a run for their money. He should stick with what he's good at - verbal abuse, and being a really poor comedian ...
