1. The article refers to a site that captures people's reactions to the Onion when they think the stories therein are real. This suggests that the Onion tries to make their stories believable. It seems odd that you would call someone a moron for believing it.

2. I don't see any evidence that he personally posted on facebook. It is certainly possible, but public officials often have staff that do this for them.

3. I can't take your opinion terribly seriously when you start out with a title that says anyone who disagrees with your stance on a very arguable subject is a moron. This issue has the country divided fairly equally. I suppose that makes half the country 'morons' in your opinion.
