headoverheels 334 #2 January 19, 2012 Even though he endorsed Gingrich, it seems likely to me that Santorum will gain more from this departure.
billvon 3,118 #3 January 19, 2012 At his speech he gave three reasons he couldn't continue. He felt he didn't have enough popular support, he felt Newt Gingrich would make an excellent candidate, and the, um, uh, what’s the third one there . . . popular support, Gingrich and . . uh the third one, I can’t remember. rehmwa 2 #7 January 19, 2012 I expected you to play the "corpse man" card here. Politicians are so monitored, this really could spin off into a whole separate funny thread - perhaps with Dan Quayle and Howard Dean spinoffs even. ... masterrig 1 #11 January 20, 2012 Quote Quote YESsssssssssssssssssssssssssss! There is a God! Chuck Damn straight!! Perry scares the fuck out of me. Good riddance! There's two things I don't like about him... his face! I can't stand that constant 'I know something you don't know smirk', either. He just comes across as arrogant and self-centered. Probably no different than any other politician but Perry really stands-out. I know too, he has a lot of supporters here in Texas, that's fine. It doesn't take much looking to see that he has cost and spent more than his fair share of Texas tax-payer's money. I just wish to God we could find a good replacement for him as Governor!
