kelpdiver 2 #1 January 17, 2012 When it was pointed out that Stephen Colbert's 'exploratory committee' to run for President in South Carolina was pointless because he couldn't get on the ballot, coupled with no write-ins, I wondered if he might use the name of an ex candidate, most notable, Cain. Last night he did exactly that - telling viewers that a vote for Herman was a vote for him. So how many will play along? This started up last Tuesday when it was announced that Colbert, a native of South Carolina, was outpolling Huntsman by a 5% to 4% margin. He immediately transferred his superpac to Jon Stewart and revived the same campaign he tried in 2008. Huntsman has since dropped his bid entirely. And having already run an ad calling Mitt a serial killer for chopping up corporations, will the non coordinated Jon Stewart run promo ads for Cain?
