BoogeyMan 0 #2 January 13, 2012 "I believe Binyam Mohamed was actually only a British resident at the time of his rendition and torture. Not that it changes the horror of the thing, but it does make for important distinctions as to the geopolitical importance of the story." An Ethiopian, arrested in Pakistan, held there for 18 months, then "reditioned" to Morocco for two years...... "British intelligence agents "provided information to the US authorities about Mohamed and supplied questions for the US authorities to put to Mohamed while he was being detained." "there was "insufficient evidence" to bring criminal charges against any British intelligence officer." Sounds like this Binyam Mohamed is a very lucky person. Andrewwhyte 1 #3 January 13, 2012 This isn't news. The evidence is clear that the governments of US, UK, Canada and others have repeatedly engaged in torture either directly or by proxy against their own citizens. The population has overwhelmingly issued a collective yawn. The victims are all brown and the mainstream doesn't give a shit. Sad. First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist
