tigra 0 #3 December 21, 2011 Not exactly news. Must be a slow day on CNN. Maybe she can pick up more celebrity boxing matches. And actually, I think the doctor who implanted all those embryos into an unemployed welfare mother of 6 is the one who should be supporting those kids. theplummeter 15 #10 December 21, 2011 Couldn't she just wait for her tax return and pay the house off? I'm figuring she probably paid almost no tax this year, so with Earned Income Credit and Child Tax Credits she's due at least six figures.

I think many doctors would have said no to that, maybe some/many even did, I would have said that. But ultimately someone is going to say "Okay, great idea" or "I really need the money" and there you go. And there are simply no laws against that. lawrocket 3 #12 December 21, 2011 She had apparently thought that she'd get smothered with free gifts and such from a generous public wanting to help her out. Maybe get tv deals, etc. She probably had a million dollars in the weeks after the births. But a million dollars doesn't go far with 14 kids. I figure Kate Gosselin is well on the road to financial ruin herself. Sorry, but with 8 kids I cannot see how putting all that money into plastic surgery and into living the high life isn't gonna come back to haunt you. Especially since I can't see any present form of income for you. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Marinus 0 #14 December 22, 2011 I stand corrected, to call it insane is a insult to insane people everywhere. At least insanity usually is close to geniality and popping out 14 kids whilst on welfare....
masterrig 1 #15 December 22, 2011 I think, she did it for the fame and fortune. Failed miserably on that count. Now, the tax-payers get to support her kids. I really feel bad for all those kids. They didn't have a say in the matter. They are the one's being hurt by their stupid mother and the doctor looking for fame and fortune, too. This may sound ugly but I think all those kids should be taken away from her and adopted-out. She should be neutered! Chuck

DougH 270 #21 December 23, 2011 Quote>Why would that be a hope? It would make some people feel better. Funny, I was thinking some people would be happy to shower welfare on the Octowhore, let the kids fester, and then they would have more constituents to "help" down the road. I'd rather the mom get put on work detail, the kids get assistance and mentoring, and mahbe they won't grow up like mom. But we all know it is better to throw money at the problem and let the cycle to repeat."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
Andy9o8 2 #22 December 23, 2011 Quotei say she and the doc should be taken out back and shot. OK, let's take a breath, and presume you're speaking metaphorically. She should have to live with the consequences, but not have innocent children suffer. That probably means poverty for her, and quite possibly loss or severe restriction of her parental rights (i.e., moving the children out of her home) so that the children are provided for without her reaping any financial benefit or support, even indirectly. The doctor's conduct might not have been illegal, but he, and his license to practice, are still governed by a code of professional ethics, so he probably deserves to lose his license. Let him make a living as a hospital orderly for a few years.
jimmytavino 16 #23 December 23, 2011 sorry to hear that she is "broke" .... But BEFORE all this child bearing began.... i have a sad suspicion that she was "broken"...in the first place... in some cases a child is conceived to make up for some loss or something lacking ( or perceived by the woman, to be lacking ) in the persons' life... too often a woman may think that "a child to love" is the answer to her problems..... WRONG!!! for her and sadly... for the infant(s)..Could this be the case here??? Times 14????? Good luck to all the Sulemon(sp) children...p.s. the "doctor" is a jackAss.... BIGUN 1,483 #24 December 23, 2011 Here in Oklahoma, we got lots of families with eight children. They're called ranch hands and got to earn their keep with chores starting at an early age. Their siblings "hand down" (teach) additional chores to the young'uns as they get older. In the winter, the boys go out with Pop and learn how to hunt and provide meat for the family through the winter. The young girls teach the younger ones how to do household chores and some of the girls go hunting with Pops also (Girls with guns going hunting, how ridiculous). When some families have a hard year, everyone goes to the church and donates items for those families in their community that need help. When someone in one family gets sick, other families will send someone over to that family to help with the chores, or make meals or bring some meals for that family. Buddy of mine who was a former Army Ranger had a passel of kids. They woke up early in the morning and worked on the ranch until it was time for school. When they got home from school, they worked on the ranch until supper time and then did their homework. Over the years, each of the kids got academic scholarships and all of them are now business, medical or legal professionals. To this day, they have an old large television without cable (gasp) that picks up four channels. Somewhere along the line; we've lost our sense of family and community. Personally, I think it was around the time when John Wayne died and since then the whole world has gone to shit.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. masterrig 1 #25 December 23, 2011 It's like that here in West Texas, too. Girls with guns, hunting is flat, cool! The ranchers here don't have a passle of kids just for attention and what all those kids will bring to the 'family' in the line of cash from sympathisers. Ranch kids here have chores before and after school and we look-out for one another. You're absolutely correct. The attitude in this country has changed. That attitude is now, 'It's all about ME!'
