Now back to the Bush family. Dad should be in jail for his dealings in the Iran-Contra affair and for pardoning of all of his cronies.

Sweet. Can we put the Clintons in the next two cells for Whitewater, letting the Chinese have missile tech and all the other crap they pulled?

So Bush Sr. is bad good for going with what the UN wanted, and Bush Jr. is bad good for going against what the UN wanted?

I am just a stupid Canadian, but isn't that exactly what you said yourself earlier in this thread?

Nice set of mutually inconsistent statements you have, there.

Nice set indeed.

4K+ dead
35K+ hurt
Don't even ask how much $$$$

Just so one boy could prove to his father that he could do what the old man was too smart not to.

Oh well it's over.

What's sad is the number of people who believe this Liberal Lie. Do you even remember where you received this programming or is it so embedded in your psyche' that it's impossible to remove?

That there was some very weak spin...truly weak spin.

Have you had the chance to read any Greek tragedies?
The only reason Caligula ran off into Iraq was to prove to his father that he was just as manly as the old man. And that he could do one thing the old man could not....or in this case was smart enough not to (please google Walker Bush's thoughts regarding why he did not march to Baghdad).

Now before you start getting upset here are the facts.
Bush 1.0 was more or less a self made man regardless of his father.
Bush 2.0 only got into university thanks to 1.0

Bush 1.0 was a Navy aviator and flew in WWII.
Bush 2.0 was in the Texas National Guard during Vietnam / draft and well...it didn't work out well.

Bush 1.0 found oil
Bush 2.0 traded Samy Sosa

Bush 1.0 had various high level government jobs including US ambassador to China!
Bush 2.0 was a part time governor or texas.

I'm sorry but no matter how you cut it up and evaluate it the mitigating circumstances are such to reinforce the simple notion that the reason why we the US invaded Iraq was such that Caligula could one up his father and thus prove that his testicular mass was greater than that of his father.

If there ever was a perfect script for a Greek tragedy I don't know of one. However unlike most tragedies Bush 2.0 went home safe and sound while well over 30k people came home either dead or damaged for his hubris.

Please when responding to my post do not attempt to utilize spin. I may be liberal but I am not a part of the beaten wives jello party. I have a functioning back bone.

Bush 41 wanted to continue into Bagdad and take out Hussein. The only reason he didn't was because the U.N. mandate did not allow it. So there goes that part of your argument.

The rest of your imagined psycholgical poppycock has absolutely no basis in fact as neither you nor anyone else who spouts these lies has ever done a psychological profile on either one of them. That means that while it nay make interesting conversation in the Bars, it has no basis in reality. So there goes the rest of your argument.

That's funny, that's not how George senior seems to remember it.

You can say all you want about Bush 1.0 W/R to what he did or did not do in dealing with the Iran Iraq war but with this point yes he knew better.

He simply lacked the people power to do it right.
And that man did alotof things right.

His boy? Well I hope one day he starts building homes for the homeless and starts saying sorry to all those that died for his little "Daddy look what I did that you were too smart not to do!"

Like ex-President Jimmy Carter has done with Habitat for Humanity? No Republican would be caught dead doing that.

Why? Why not build a home for those who lost their lives? Or worse those who can no longer walk or live a "normal" life due to his decision to prove his father wrong?

I suppose if the intended insult wasn't so pathetic, I'd point it out to the moderators, but I just can't stop laughing at the guy and his high school level of understanding.

The funniest thing is that both of you think your supposed arguments carry any more validity than rhys' nanothermite claims.

Beats the grade school level of "I know the military SAID they ordered the banner, but it was *REALLY* Bush".

Say hi to rhys.

Oh, great. A link to the left-wing idiots at DU.

Here, learn something. The main reason they didn't go to Bagdad is because they were afraid the coalition would not go along since it was not part of the U.N. mandate.
