Why should they? The whole world knows the Liberal Guilt over the invasion will once again require the U.S. to expend our resources without recourse.
Do you liberal-bashing republicans even think before you write shit?
Drunk post?
You know it's true.

QuoteWhat will be truely interesting is how the neo-cons will justify the war when the final result is a Shiite dominated ally of Iran. This is the reason Bush the Elder wanted no part of a ground invasion; because he was smarter than the Younger.
Very well put and very true.
The only reason we ran off into Iraq was so that the younger could prove to his father that he could do what the old man was smart enough NOT TO!
Oh well....great now we will have Iran 2.0.
Just what the world needs!
Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay.

That your post is a gratuitous, empty liberal-bashing dig with no teeth -- sure. Unless you're talking about the song by Milli Vanilli, which is completely off topic. Please don't derail this otherwise oh so meaningful SC discussion, thanks.

Pretty funny that my posts are on topic and your are not, yet you accuse me of trying to derail a converstaion.
I don't know why the hell people don't recognize the fact that those people just simply do NOT want peace. They want battles and it doesn't matter what issue is the flavor of the day.
Let 'em go after one another! Let the best man win!
Oh wait...there's that little matter of oil.....oh, never mind.

You mean this:
"A leading Iraqi politician has accused the country's prime minister of acting like Saddam Hussein in trying to silence opposition, saying he risks provoking a new fightback against dictatorship."
Comment I made in 2004:
============
>We seem to be putting forth a "meet the new boss, same as the old
> boss" type of image over there.
Yep. That song seems especially applicable to Iraqis nowadays.

Saddam had already cleaned house in Iraq once before. Then we went in and screwed-up all that "order" for them. They almost had their population WMD'd and kilt down to only the obedient "desirables". Now the place is becoming re-infested with even more shi'ite and kurd occupiers. Gotta start all over again. (alas, uh..Baghdad ...
