JohnRich 4 #1 December 8, 2011 News:Climate Skeptics Parachute into Climate Conference "On Tuesday, a skydiving team from the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) parachuted down on Toti beach, near the city where the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is taking place. "The skydivers carried two signs, one reading “Climategate 2.0 Science Not Settled”, the other “No New Treaty CFACT”. Even though I made it clear it was posted there for the purpose of talking about the demo, and not the politics, somehow it still got deleted, rather than just moved to here. Oh well, I can do that myself. Kind of interesting how a demo jump can steal so much media attention for a contradictory view of the intended purpose of the conference. Bertt 0 #4 December 9, 2011 Now there's an idea for some free publicity for your favorite dropzone. Just call the local news and give them a tip that skydivers will be protesting at such-and-such airport this weekend. Anybody that wants to join the protest can donate the going rate for a tandem and go on a tandem ride to view the condition of the earth from two miles high.You don't have to outrun the bear.
