kelpdiver 2 #27 December 1, 2011 I wasn't looking for a definition. (But while you're here, can you tell me what TSA, CIA, and FBI stand for?) I was looking for some relevance for the TLA.
rushmc 23 #28 December 1, 2011 Correct But one was needed to get back to the point you wanted to avoid"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." kelpdiver 2 #29 December 1, 2011 oh, was there a point? If it's this silly belief of your's that Bush would have been castigated for making this non mistake, I refer you to my opening line - cry me a fucking river. It's ain't true.
rushmc 23 #30 December 1, 2011 Quoteoh, was there a point? If it's this silly belief of your's that Bush would have been castigated for making this non mistake, I refer you to my opening line - cry me a fucking river. It's ain't true. It is true Another case in point When Bush's poll numbers dropped to his lowest levels ever, All media outlets talked about it in nearly all news stories about Bush. Wolf brought it up 4 times an hours for nearly a week Now this is not about Bush, it is about an agenda driven media. Obama's numbers are at his lowest level ever. Even worse, they are at the lowest level of any modern president Hearing about is a 1000 times a day like when Bush's numbers dropped? Nope Again, I dont care about Bush at this point I care about people getting news on a level playing field It aint happening"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Abraham Lincoln
kelpdiver 2 #31 December 1, 2011 Quote Again, I dont care about Bush at this point Denial is powerful. So is selection bias. You see the things that confirm your hypothesis and disregard the rest. I see plenty of articles about Obama's ratings. You obviously do as well.

rushmc 23 #33 December 1, 2011 Suppose Wolf is dong the same this week? QuoteWolf Blitzer, in one news cast, when Bush’s poll numbers tanked: It’s 4 p.m. here in Washington. So you’re getting the first look right now at our brand-new poll. The president’s job approval rating has taken a downward turn again, falling to only 36%. This represents his lowest rating ever in the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. The president’s poll numbers are pretty bad, pretty awful right now, rock bottom as far as the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. The president’s Iraq problem and his new low point in the polls. His approval and policies now are at new lows. The president’s job approval number in this new CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll, rock bottom, the lowest it’s ever been. It’s 5 p.m. here in Washington where President Bush takes a beating in our latest poll. His approval rating at a low ebb. Our latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll just out in the past hour shows the president at an all-time low. His job approval rating at a new low. That’s rock bottom as far as our poll is concerned. It’s 7 p.m. here in Washington. The war in Iraq comes home to roost for President Bush. Our latest poll numbers showing his approval rating at a new low. Also: President Bush hits a new low in the polls. Now back to our lead story: President Bush’s approval rating now at an all-time low. As we noted, a new CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll shows his job approval rating at a new low. President Bush’s approval rating at a new low, 36%. The same Wolf Blitzer when when Obama’s poll numbers tanked over the weekend: "America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." rushmc 23 #34 December 1, 2011 But Wolf here says, “The latest Gallup poll, the tracking poll, he’s down around, what, 40%? Some say 39, 40, 41%…” (laughing)"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Abraham Lincoln
DanG 1 #35 December 1, 2011 You're obviously pulled the CNN transcipts (or, more likly are quoting another website that claims to have pulled them) so you can easily answer this question: Was, "The latest Gallup poll, the tracking poll, he’s down around, what, 40%? Some say 39, 40, 41%…” (laughing)" the only sentance Wolf Blitzer uttered regarding Obama's poll ratings? How did the audience know what he was talking about if that's the only sentance uttered regarding the subject? - Dan G
kelpdiver 2 #36 December 1, 2011 you need to be a bit more systematic to support your claim. People do such studies and they can come up with real results (most recently - how the media is ignoring Ron Paul). But random detailings of news shows you watch is not quality data. I doubt that you have such recall of Wolf (like you even watch him) from 3 years ago. You're likely using someone else's notes and taking them at face value. ---- add: btw, without dates/channels, your evidence isn't even worth as much as I suggest.
