Recommended Posts

And he looked like he was coming up in the polls. This is why the vast majority of Americans hate Washington. Newt making almost $2,000,000 to be a "history" consultant.

BTW your Youtube video was a speech Gingrich gave in 2010. He stopped working for Freddie Mac in 2008.

Well that must be a coincidence that he bad mouths them once he's off their payroll.

You don't know what advice he gave them while on their payroll. You also don't know what changes may have occured between 2008 and 2010. You are just buying in to the latest left-wing propoganda to attack whichever Republican is surging in the polls.

But they make it so easy. In reality the left does not want to attack them all, just the ones that stand the best chance of beating Obama.

I like Bachmann, she's wonderful, I hope she gets the nomination.

No, but the people he worked with did.

"Those familiar with Gingrich’s work don’t recall any warnings about the company’s business model—and that instead, his job was to rally support for Freddie Mac among Republicans in Washington."

But no problem; he was just for them before he was against them.

Still sniffing that Hopium. eh?

If the right was running McCain against Obama right now, Obama would be history. But the GOP reminds me of the circus, when the little car pulls up and more and more clowns keep getting out. That's the GOP right now. Bachmann then Paul and then Perry and Cain, and now Gingrich, it's a circus. The only one that knows his ass from a hole in the ground is Hutsmen and he's hovering in the low single digits, not to mention he still has the Mormon thing going on like Romney.

Yep. RushMC recently quipped that Elmer Fudd could beat Obama at this point. But the GOP can't even find someone that qualified.

Hmm

So you are saying someone LESS qualified than Elmer can beat Obama right now.

You are starting to get it my friend.

You mean like in 2004 when the Dems put up clowns like Howard Dean (the screamer), John Edwards(the adulterer), Westley Clark(the Golden Boy), Al Sharpton(the racist), Carol Mosely Brown(against welfare reform), John Kerry(did you know he was in Vietnam?), Bob Graham, Richard Gephardt, Dennis Kucinich(the Space Alien), Ralph Nader(the Socialist) and Joe Lieberman(who left the Dem party?

Pretty much describes a normal vetting process when the party out of power is challenging the one in power.

Nope. I'm saying the GOP doesn't even have an Elmer Fudd they can field.

And what makes your point here so fun is that the left has thought this about most R canidates (except McCain who is not a republican anywy) since I can remember

Dont agree with the left? You are labled stupid and dangerous

I guess we will see what happnes next Nov

Probably true. What seems unique this time is that even the right is going after them for their incompetence.

Not unique at all really

This has happened to many in the party that the upper elite did not pick

They have picked Romeny

So the rest have to go

The elite picked McCain

This did not make sense to me until this insider bs came to light this week

They are all getting rich off the status quo

Someone new coming in is a threat to that

This is part of it IMO any

So, it has nothing to do with incompetence rather, it has everything to do with toeing the line

it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

Rush, if the Republicans were to field a candidate who was not "picked by the elite" (whoever they are in the Republican party -- and were they the ones who picked Sarah Palin?), do you think he or she could be elected by the entire voting population? (i.e. independents, liberals, conservatives, Democrats, Republicans, socialists, fascists -- you get the picture).
