Gravitymaster 0 #27 November 16, 2011 QuoteQuoteI just posted his picture. So who's doing the stereotyping? Or do you still believe it's a secret plot by the Tea-Party? Ummm - did you read the file name of the picture you posted? Here, let me help you. It was: "Occupy DC Nutter.jpg" And still there's no evidence that he was anything other than just another Nutter with a gun. Well, if you want to get technical, there's no evidence at this point he even fired the shot and if he did, there's no evidence at this point that he's a nutter. jclalor 12 #28 November 16, 2011 Kind of like the right wing nutter who flew his plane into the IRS building killing one and injuring many. Not to even mention Oklahoma City. Your source also does not support anything in your thread: QuoteU.S. Park Police continue to search for a 21-year-old man suspected of firing shots near the White House. QuoteSchlosser says police searched the Occupy D.C. encampment in McPherson Square after callers said they had seen a man matching Ortega's description, but the search turned up empty. quade 4 #31 November 17, 2011 Your thread subject line is wildly misrepresentative of the facts so far. QuoteOrtega-Hernandez has a record of arrests for relatively minor offenses in Texas, Utah and Idaho, authorities said, but he has not been linked to any radical organizations. In trying to determine why he traveled to the nation’s capital from the western part of the country, investigators also found no connection between him and the Occupy D.C. protest, according to three law enforcement officials familiar with the case. Gravitymaster 0 #36 November 17, 2011 QuoteSo, there is no evidence of any kind to link him to the Occupy DC folks . . . he's just another nut with a gun. Certainly no evidence that would satisfy you short of him publicly declaring his undying allegiance to whatever the ODC group ideology is this week. He certainly qualifies as a nutter. He hates the government, society etc.

CanuckInUSA 0 #46 November 17, 2011 Believe it or not I agree with Kallend here. It was wrong for the Left and their media to label the Gabrielle Giffords Tucson AZ shooting incident as caused by someone on the Right, just as it is wrong to say this man is an "Occupy" follower.. Until tangible evidence surfaces that he is indeed tied to the "Occupy" movement, he is nothing more than a "Nutter with a Gun". I can't speak for others, but I am not fond of the idea of "Nutters with Guns" running around shooting at buildings, especially high profile government buildings. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Well at least we have a verifiable source in the U.S. Park Police as opposed to some reporter who claims to have an anonymous source. Why doesn't the reporter, whom you have obviously chosen to believe, not want to reveal his source? Why doesn't the source want to be named? Could it be the reporter is making up the story?
