Occupy D.C. Nutter takes a shot at Obama W.H.

I just posted his picture. So who's doing the stereotyping? Or do you still believe it's a secret plot by the Tea-Party?

Ummm - did you read the file name of the picture you posted?

Here, let me help you. It was: "Occupy DC Nutter.jpg"

And still there's no evidence that he was anything other than just another Nutter with a gun.

Well, if you want to get technical, there's no evidence at this point he even fired the shot and if he did, there's no evidence at this point that he's a nutter. I'm using SC standards, not legal standards.

Kind of like the right wing nutter who flew his plane into the IRS building killing one and injuring many.

Not to even mention Oklahoma City.

Your source also does not support anything in your thread:

U.S. Park Police continue to search for a 21-year-old man suspected of firing shots near the White House.

Schlosser says police searched the Occupy D.C. encampment in McPherson Square after callers said they had seen a man matching Ortega's description, but the search turned up empty.

Your thread subject line is wildly misrepresentative of the facts so far.

Ortega-Hernandez has a record of arrests for relatively minor offenses in Texas, Utah and Idaho, authorities said, but he has not been linked to any radical organizations.

In trying to determine why he traveled to the nation’s capital from the western part of the country, investigators also found no connection between him and the Occupy D.C. protest, according to three law enforcement officials familiar with the case.

U.S. Park police say Ortega may have spent time with Occupy D.C. protesters.

I hear Timothy McVeigh may have spent time with the US Army, and Lee Harvey Oswald may have spent time with the US Marines.

Police believe Ortega-Hernandez is mentally ill. He has an extensive record, ranging from domestic violence to drug charges. Sources say a police investigation uncovered evidence suggesting Ortega-Hernandez has a fixation on the White House.

So, there is no evidence of any kind to link him to the Occupy DC folks . . . he's just another nut with a gun.

Certainly no evidence that would satisfy you short of him publicly declaring his undying allegiance to whatever the ODC group ideology is this week. He certainly qualifies as a nutter. He hates the government, society etc.

Sounds like an ODC Charter Menber.

Uh, doesn't that actually sound a LOT more like the Tea Party nuts who brought guns to protests?

Nope, sounds like the actual violence perpetrated by the Occupiers rather than the media generated fear of the Tea Partiers.

That's just what I was thinking. After all the violence and rape, theft, shootings and overall degenerate activities that occurred at those Tea Party rallies.

Sounds more like a religious nutter:

"Authorities are investigating the man's mental health and say there are indications he believed attacking the White House was part of a personal mission from God, according to a law enforcement official who spoke with the Associated Press," reported the AP.

Nice try at a cheap smear, though.

Believe it or not I agree with Kallend here.

It was wrong for the Left and their media to label the Gabrielle Giffords Tucson AZ shooting incident as caused by someone on the Right, just as it is wrong to say this man is an "Occupy" follower.. Until tangible evidence surfaces that he is indeed tied to the "Occupy" movement, he is nothing more than a "Nutter with a Gun". I can't speak for others, but I am not fond of the idea of "Nutters with Guns" running around shooting at buildings, especially high profile government buildings. :S

3 un-named, anonymous law enforcement sources say he isn't associated with the ODC nutters and the Park police say he spent time hanging out with them. Choose whichever source you think is the most credible.

Last time you wrote "U.S. Park police say Ortega may have spent time with Occupy D.C. protesters."

So now you have certain information from these un-named, anonymous Park Police rather than a "may have"?

Edited to add: Even Fox News is no longer claiming an association with ODC.

Well at least we have a verifiable source in the U.S. Park Police as opposed to some reporter who claims to have an anonymous source. Why doesn't the reporter, whom you have obviously chosen to believe, not want to reveal his source? Why doesn't the source want to be named? Could it be the reporter is making up the story?
