it would be nice if "journalists" would fact-check some of these promises

You asked, they answered:
Factcheck

The local paper prints the updates regularly

Nowhere close to true, which just goes to show you how really really bad Perry looks to get under that bar.

Yes, it is true
You need to go over the off teleprompter gaffs your hero does daily while visiting all 57 states with a corps man :D

I know the rubes were loving this "gaff"

BUT.. if you were on an extended trip around the country day in and day out for a VERY extended time period to one state after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another gee what happens when you go to several states more than once?
Why you would have been to???.

But go ahead and keep up with yet another "birther" or "muslim" fringe right brain dead talking point.:ph34r::ph34r:

Perry already has more gaffes than Obama has - and he's only been campaigning for three months!

" Is it the Mitt Romney who’s on the side … against the second amendment before he was for … the second amendment. Was it was before . . . he was before these social programs, um, from the standpoint he was for, uh, standing up for Roe versus Wade before he was against vers… uh, Roe versus Wade, uh, he was for Race to the Top. Uh… he’s … for Obamacare . . . "

"The third agency of government I would do away with — the Education, the Commerce. And let's see. I can't. The third one, I can't. Oops."

Imagine how many "oops" there will be come next November. He could give Sarah Palin a run for her money.

Well, Rush, I think it's time to see if you can get Elmer Fudd to run. He'd be better than anyone the GOP has fielded thus far.

The only way any of you on the left would like any GOP canidate is if that person was a left of center GOP moderate

The rest will also be looked at as you just posted ]

So

I dont care what you think of the canidates and second

please

just keep viewing them that way:)

I like Ron Paul, who is considerably right of center on most issues. But the GOP will never field him as a candidate. Too far from their core principles.

I would vote for Ron Paul too. (I would vote for Hillary over Obama at this point to)

I do not like Romney or Perry

Cain or Newt will be the nominee IMO.

Either can win against Obama (today)

Oh

and I would absolutely LOVE to see a Newt Barry debate!

I think Romney will end up as the nominee just because he will be the last one standing after everyone else self-destructs. Perry is going to put his foot in his mouth once too often. The accusations against Cain won't sink him, but his increasingly frantic denials and contradictions will. Newt's support of Fannie and Freddie (and their financial support of him) will make him unacceptable to the GOP.

THAT my dear is an extinct species in 90% of the country.. you call them RINO's.

Hell the positions that Reagan... Nixon... Goldwater..took are what used to be considered to be conservative... you guys would call them RINO's

The rePUBIClown Party has swung so far to the right.. 90 percent of all the people in this country .. you and yours identify as liberals.

Face it until you leave the neo-John Birchers behind your party will be nothing but a bad joke.

I agree, it's been Romney's to lose for quite some time. All he has to do is keep his head down while the others continue to draw fire, both external and internal. Perry and Bachmann never really stood a chance. Paul and Cain are smart but probably unelectable. Newt probably can't beat Romney and certainly can't beat Obama. I wish Huntsman and Santorum had made a better run at it, or Christie had thrown his hat in the ring. Romney seems to me to be the only one standing that can beat Obama, and it probably hinges on who he picks as his running mate. Barring a Ross Perot entry, a centrist running mate would probably tip the scales in Romney's favor. Alternately, an intelligent appeal to the right of his demographic (Ron Paul?) could keep him in firing range while letting him try to pull from the center. A Palinesque choice will give Obama another four.

Newt quit the game after the 1998 election. How he's even being considered now in the "top tier" is a testament to the incredible crappiness of the candidate pool.

Rick Perry: Just how bad was it?

It shows that a dumb-as-a-rock Texas governor who can't string an extemporaneous sentence together couldn't possibly be elected President in a million years.

*Rambling thoughts...prepares to speak ex culus*

I just don't buy that these guys are as dumb as they sound. I just think that many ameicans find stupidity appealing these days...it's what they can relate to. I think that's why Cain came out with that "smoking ad" in the first place - so the youtube vidiots are like "Da huh, lol...that's funny, I'm gonna vote for that guy, da huh!"

Plus, if people really think you're that stupid, it's much easier to pass off responsibility for your "mishaps."

"Meh, he's just an idiot not a war criminal..."

It's called playing dumb, a technique mastered by many at 6 years old...

Whenever I see Rick Perry, I just want to slap that arrogant smirk off his face! I'm convinced that Rick Perry, like so many other politicians is out for Rick Perry... period!
We've been so controlled by the 'old guard' for so long, we don't know anything else. We need to 'clean house'!

Even my friends who are very republican (I'm more libertarian) call him Gov. Hair, or Gov. Pointy boots. He's pretty openly made fun of. Yeah... out for himself. Pretty clear.

I'm with you, but unfortunately I think aside from one or two candidates that aren't getting much media coverage, "old guard" is all that's left. On both sides!

Of course, how could the the fight for World unity and peace ever be won if the U.S minded it's own business and saved all the democracy and jobs for itself?

We need more 'newbies' to step-up. As long as we keep voting the 'old guard' in, it's business as usual and we the people lose. Sometimes, experience isn't everything.

edit to add: ...and really clamp-down on lobbyists!!!
