(They wanted to charge an extra $6 to disc subscribers for streaming media, so 800k subscribers left out of 24M ( a mere fraction of the 1B+ potential subscribers), Whaaa. Do those 800k get upset when McDonald's won't take their coupon for a happy meal?)

AT&T is paying about a 6% dividend.
(Solid utility- like a rock)

Plenty of REITs have great payouts (Annaly Capital, Chimera, etc.) taking advantage of the spread.
(Rates aren't going anywhere for the next few years. They haven't yet made the connection that it doesn't matter how low the interest rate is if no one can qualify for a mortgage. So, keep monetizing those T-bills Fed.)

The bus is here. The doors are open.
Put down your signs and get on board or keep chanting your slogans- I don't care either way.

Just don't bitch if you get run over when the bus pulls out (again).



It will never happen. People have been conditioned to sit around, whine and "Occupy". Let papa Uncle Sam take care of everything so they can lead a stress free lifestyle.

alot of misdirected animosity out there.

Depending on who reports it, cnbc said only 3% of the top 1% work in finance. Someone at the NYT said it was 13%. Still, you would never guess its that low by listening to the average Joe.

Seems like some people should spread their jealousy and hate around a bit.

And 99% of the country isn't on food stamps.



I wouldn't count myself as poor, but even I lack the funds to even make anything worth anything in any sort of investment market. I have also only seen my retirement accounts lose money (which I am not moving in hopes of getting it back at some point).

You can whine all you want about the people protesting, but none of it covers up the truth of the matter. There is a growing divide between income brackets.

There are definitely problems out there. The biggest problem is a growing number of jobs in North America and Europe are vanishing forever. Yes there are lazy people and entitled people. But there are also people who want to work but can't find work. I am definitely a "take responsibility for your own future" type of person, I have nothing whatsoever in common with the protesters. But we are all in for a massive shit sandwich if North America and Europe head down the tubes because the masses could not find work. I am on the fence here and I don't like what I see on either side of the fence. :S

It is common knowledge that the younger you get them, the more successful you will be in your indoctrination. So what do we have now? Not only do we have a steady stream of so called educators indoctrinating the young and ever so impressionable minds into their Leftist ideology, but we also have politicians visiting the classroom campaigning to 4th graders. The younger you get them, the more successful you will be. After all it's not the parents job to raise their children anymore, Uncle Joe will do it for you. :S

Wow. I must really piss you off. I've made almost all my money off the government. I get a military pension, and I work for a government contractor. I had no idea I was so evil.
