QuoteTelegraph readers already know about the "shale gas revolution" that has turned America into the world’s number one producer of natural gas, ahead of Russia.
Less known is that the technology of hydraulic fracturing - breaking rocks with jets of water - will also bring a quantum leap in shale oil supply, mostly from the Bakken fields in North Dakota, Eagle Ford in Texas, and other reserves across the Mid-West.
I wonder how many Americans in those red states are going to die from the cancers and other diseases drinking the polluted water from the super secret sauce the producing companies are using to frac the shale formations.
I guess its worth it.. to the 1% who benefit the most.. I mean... those dieing people are not anyone "who matters" anyway. So Sad, Too Bad
The author is making the naive assumption that jobs will return to the US after China becomes too expensive. I think he's wrong -- they'll just go to the next ultra-cheap country to do business in.
Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
