It seems the delusions keep you from seeing reality...

With all the projection you do, you should be working at IMAX and not MSFT.

Maybe someday you will come home and have to deal with the NEW America that you have apologized fror now for years... the one with no middle class.

Conservatism... even a caveman can rise above it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZhys7Dg8YM&feature=fvst

Unlike modern conservatives who wish to return to the caves:ph34r:

What we are also seeing with the Occupiers is that they may be getting their very first instruction on the realities of life. I can admit to being stunned at the resources they had available. The gal reported that she lost a $5,500 Apple computer. I mean, huh? $5,500 for what is in high probability a personal computer?

likely a bit of hyperbole here. Just priced the current high end macbook pro. Price is 2299 and fully blinged out with a 512g SSD, still only 4100. Still, maybe we know why they can't pay their bills...

In any event, if I were at an event like this, with long term camping out, I would have a thousand+ laptop...this is what netbooks were made for. Or why have a laptop there at all?

I figured with all the projecting you do, you might as well get paid for it.

The rich got richer and the poor poorer over the past 30 years.

The middle class got poorer.

This DESPITE the massive amount of money that has gone to the poor. This is DESPITE the massive growth of entitlement spending that has directed tens of trillions to the welfare state.

Here's a concept: "Taking wealth from one does not create wealth for another." Another concept: "Poverty is not cured by giving it money."

Well, we could always let the poor eat cake instead.

Good response, John. We're talking about "wealth." Handouts don't build wealth. Handouts TAKE wealth but to not create wealth. Handouts pull wealth from many and give no wealth to those that receive them.

Sure, it's a nice soundbite to argue "let them eat cake." But you know it's merely a soundbite. Take a look at the epidemic of obesity among the poor. Yes, things have changed. We have a circumstance where the poor are not starving but are overly caloried - but malnourished.

But you were talking of wealth, John. Taking wealth from the rich and middle class hasn't created wealth among the poor. What would you propose to be done?
