JohnRich 4 #3 September 15, 2011 Oo-rah! It sounds to me like the officers from whom they were requesting permission to help, were not on the scene, but rather were giving orders by radio. On the other hand, an officer in the thick of the fight was asking for help, by radio. And I would give priority to someone in the thick of the fight over a desk-jockey sitting comfortably somewhere else. Good for him for exercising individual initiative and saving many lives.
