And sadly forgetting the ones you've known for a lifetime like your own children and spouses. If only it was selective and you could just forget the painful memories.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Completely false. 95% occurs after the age of 65, less that 1% before the age of 50. http://www.alz.org/alzheimers_disease_what_is_alzheimers.asp I got my info from the ARNP that treated my mother the last two years. I am not completely wrong. QuoteAlzheimer's is not a normal part of aging, although the greatest known risk factor is increasing age, and the majority of people with Alzheimer's are 65 and older. But Alzheimer's is not just a disease of old age. Up to 5 percent of people with the disease have early-onset Alzheimer's (also known as younger-onset), which often appears when someone is in their 40s or 50s.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

I misunderstood you, I guess you were talking about early onset Alzheimer's. Your reply was to some one who stated it was a disease of the old. With over 95%of cases not diagnosed until age 65, I would have to agree.
