hwt 0 #26 September 9, 2011 This is not a jobs bill. It is a stimulus bill. It is to bailout the union pensions which are in serious financial trouble. Obama wants to borrow more money and print more Obama bucks for more of those shovel ready ( union ) jobs. Which will not be so shovel ready... Obama needs the kick backs to help fund his re-election.

"And this plan begins with -- this plan must begin today, a plan I am confident will save or create at least 3 million jobs over the next few years" "Yes, we'll put people to work repairing crumbling roads, bridges and schools by eliminating the backlog of well-planned, worthy and needed infrastructure projects, but we'll also do more to retrofit America for a global economy." "Now, I understand that some might be skeptical of this plan. Our government has already spent a good deal of money, but we haven't yet seen that translate into more jobs or higher incomes or renewed confidence in our economy." Is there an echo in here? Ohh, I think the plan is bullshit. I also think that the plan will be a failure. I agree that it is a re-election ploy. I also think that if the Republican controlled congress allows it to happen, they are just as culpable. I agree with you. I don't think the congress will pass it though. If somehow they do it would be a few RINO reps jumping the fence and every dems supporting it. Honestly I don't even think a lot of democrats will support this. They want to get reelected too. Amazon 7 #28 September 10, 2011 Quote Quote Quote Quote As my grandfather used to say: "You're putting the cart ahead of the horse." How is that? Senate and House just rubberstamping institutions? No that is how our economy ended up in the dumpster that he is still trying to get us out of.. the same posters here never seemed to mind the rePUBIClown rubberstamp from 2001 to 2007 that got us here. \ C'mon....you can do better than this tired rhetoric. You really hate the truth don't you guys...Perhaps the Dems should have shoved a who bunch of anything they wanted down your very wide throats during the time they had a large majority in the House and Senate.. turn about is fair play after all

Ah yes.. anyone not firmly in the cesspool of fringe right politics in the Party of Lincoln.... sad.. There is no more room in your Party of Do Nothing clowns... for anyone who actually wishes to actually govern. Governance from the pulpit has worked soooooo well for.. how long now?? Our public education system is falling apart, and the more I think about it, the more I find myself blaming that on liberal policies. We are all engines of karma
