negligent, sure. But otherwise, seems like you're making a lot out of it. The amazing thing is that the TSA actually found the gun. In most tests, they seem to fail close to 100% of the time. When they do find the guns, its because a CCW holder forgot it was in the briefcase or purse, made no attempt to disguise it.

I expect he'll lose his permit, as is appropriate for the offense.

Maybe we can have Officer Friendly from Canton as the public service rep. He can shout down the license holder every time he tries to tell the cop he's armed, then beat him down once the gun is found.

Yeah, that was really stupid. Somehow it wasn't necessary for the cops here to beat the guy to death.

All they said was that the man did not deserve to be beaten if he cooperated fully with authorities which I agree. They made no mention of him not being charged and tried for breaking the law.

Besides if the criminal is that dumb, I doubt attempting to beat some sense into them would even work. :P

Not too shabby! The U.S. Border Patrol even uses (used) them. I do like the wood grips. All my pistols have wooden grips.
I'm really, more into 'wheel' guns. My favorite is my Colt .45 SAA.;)

Yup, the guy is a putz. He lost the gun, and he's facing a criminal charge. Stupid is as stupid does.

So do you think all criminals should face assault and battery from law enforcement officers when try are stupid? Or just crimes you would never commit? Personally I'd put domestic violence, drunk drivers, animal abusers, and sex offenders much much higher on my list of "somebody should beat the brakes off of them." But I don't really think they should be beaten, either.

When did supporting police brutality become the responsible liberal thing to do?
