Grinding down Americia

There are things I can agree with concerning what this fellow is saying and other things where personally I feel he really should change his perspective. I can accept that he should have the freedom to worship whatever religious views that he wants as long as he recognizes my freedom not to have religious views.

However he is correct in some areas. Example: there is a movement going on right now by some Leftists to pressure Sesame Street to declare that "Bert and Ernie are a gay couple and that they should be married". WTF? These Leftists want to take something that belongs to children and sexualize it for their own political agenda. Fortunately the makers of "Bert and Ernie", the people down at the Sesame Street Workshop still have an ounce of reality flowing through their heads and issued the following statement:

Quote

"Bert and Ernie are best friends. They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics, they remain puppets and do not have a sexual orientation" - Sesame Street Workshop

Anyone who can not understand that Bert and Ernie are puppets with no sexual identity, is an idiot. I am getting sick and tired of Leftist pushing their social engineering down my throat especially when they are indoctrinating young and impressionable children. But to show I am an equal opportunity person, I am also sick and tired of religious people who push their religious views on me. The Universe is an awfully big place and it's origins and expanse are beyond my comprehension. If we are alone in the Universe (as many religions insist), it is an awful waste of space.

I've never heard of it referred by that euphemism before.
Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Whatever floats your boat. I don't play for that team. I don't think they should be thrown out of the game. But I choose to stay on the sidelines when they are at play. :)
