I don't think these foibles are limited to the US.

Fox news would never try and slant a story for political gain, they are fair and balanced and have a reputation for their high degree of professional journalism. Of course with the departure of Glen beck, their accuracy may be down just a bit.

BIGUN 1,486 #4 August 10, 2011 Well, there are some "foibles" in his journalistic attempt also.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I don't think his location had anything to do with the accuracy of his news sources (CNN, FOX). If he'd tried to get local news reports, then your assumption might have some traction. The fact that he was in the US trying to get news about something media would prefer to sell "dirty laundry" about... that's way more telling than his physical location when querying news sources headquartered in a different state.-- Rob

CanuckInUSA 0 #7 August 10, 2011 QuoteI don't think these foibles are limited to the US No they are not. For several days following the massacre, the CBC continued to report that Anders Breivik was a Christian fundamentalist. This went on all weekend at the CBC. It was only the following week when the CBC stopped labeling Breivik as something that he was not. People can say all they want about Fox News, but there are other organizations who do the exact same thing, only on the opposite end of the propaganda war. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
