That's our real problem. In real life - the husband AND the wife both agree to buy hamburger, they plant a garden, both go to work - and they stop buying cigarettes and champagne. The children whine about 2nd hand clothes, and the parents teach them to deal with it. SO - if are calling government analogous to parents, what we are really doing is observing that government is crappy parents and we should be taking away their power hugely. Government IS that father/husband - and he doesn't have a real job because he doesn't produce anything - that's why he's so crappy with his personal finances. The real analogy is that the father (gov)'s only job is robbing gas stations, but all the gas stations have closed because of the crime rate he created - and they don't care if he's dem or rep ...
