but not surprising since none of you seem capable of following the money behind all of your "grass roots" organizations..

You keep SAYING that, but you can't ever seem to 'show us the money'.

And you keep blithering that same line away.... I post link after link after link that you will not read and will not comprehend and will not believe because you can't.

It is not in your nature to believe anything that disturbs your far right wing calm.

you're going to find the same numbers for the RNC too, you know. Both parties raise money in the off years, but spend most of it during the election year. Shouldn't be surprised to see this.

Get more info than what MSNBC is providing, maybe even volunteer for the military and then volunteer for SCERE school, and then we'll talk more about it after you have been educated on the subject.

first, learn how to use a calculator and tell me what you get when you divide 7.3 by 2.3.

Let's get this straight - rather than give data for that party, you're telling me that a guy (Romney) who didn't even run for an office last year raised more money than he spent? WOW!

The DNC and RNC ran hundreds of elections across the country last year. You've cherry picked 4 people out of them, *three* of them weren't even running, and your data for Bachmann is questionable. Wikipedia reports she spent 8.5M on her 2010 reelection, more than any other House candidate.

Whatever you're citing here, I'm not buying it. But it's, as I said, besides the point. Didn't the RNC nearly go bankrupt last year due to bad management by now disposed Michael Steele? What does that tell us?

And here I thought the OP was talking about an UPCOMING campaign and not last year's....silly me.

Given that the numbers I gave were compiled from Federal Election Commission reports, I think I'll stick with it instead of the Wiki special.

Having a hard time believing that Obama spent $80M in 2010 on a presidential campaign.

But can easily believe the Democratic Party spent that trying (unsuccessfully) to hold onto both chambers of Congress.

I must have missed where Obama ran for re-election in 2010. Here in the rest of the world, that isn't happening until 2012.

Hey, good of you to actually provide a citation with clarity. Before you posted:
And the 2010 summary...
Total Raised: $48,662,185
Total Spent: $80,235,455

It's typical for established leaders to use their fundraising to help other members of their party in closer elections. This report doesn't detail the timeline during which this 80M was spent.

----
funny how you didn't show the next two columns, which completely torpedo the lie you were telling:
Debts $412,878
Cash on Hand $37,110,346

I'm pretty sure that he can't use funds contributed against a Presidential campaign to help out his buds in Congress.

Doesn't torpedo it at all, just means he's spent money against the campaign before the reporting period started.

For all you people whining about Evil corporations and the Koch brothers supporting right wing candidates.

What are your feelings on Soros supporting left wing candidates.

They are also some of the very worst companies to work for.... they support pollution and getting rid of any regulations that would hinder their complete rape of the land as well. Look up how many times their companies have been fined for all kinds of abuses...
