10 years after concealed weapons law, unclear why many in state were gun-shy

Ten years after Michigan made it much easier for its citizens to get a license to carry a concealed gun, predictions of widespread lawless behavior and bloodshed have failed to materialize.

Today, nearly 276,000 -- or about four out of every 100 eligible adult Michiganders -- are licensed.

That's more than twice the number predicted...

Because they were told and taught to be scared of guns, instead of being taught how to respect guns and instead focus on being scared of criminal.

Seems in this case it is not really debatable... Crime went down.

Duh....

So here is a look at *10 years* of data... and when you add in FL and TX it is pretty easy to see that CHL/CWP does not ADD to any danger.

You can debate that it does not reduce crime if you want... But it is perfectly clear that respecting a persons 2nd Amendment rights does not make "blood flow in the streets"
