ANOTHER Ft. Hood plot...

A U.S. serviceman is in custody after he allegedly admitted he was planning an attack on the U.S. Army base at Fort Hood, Texas, the same base where 13 people were killed in a 2009 terror attack.

U.S. officials told ABC News an AWOL serviceman, identified by the FBI as a Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo, was arrested Wednesday after making a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, Texas, the same ammunition store where Maj. Nidal Hasan purchased the weapons he allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 32 others on Nov. 5, 2009.

Abdo, 21, allegedly told law enforcement he wanted to "get even" and was targeting Ft. Hood because of the previous attack there allegedly carried out by Hasan, according to law enforcement documents obtained by ABC News. He allegedly did not plan to attack the base itself, but instead planned to plant a bomb at a nearby restaurant popular with Ft. Hood personnel.

He was in the process of building two bombs and hoped to detonate both at the target location before using a pistol to shoot survivors, the documents say.

I heard that he bought smokeless/black powder, and the store clerk was suspicious of his intentions. I wonder if he went up to the store and asked for gunpowder, only to be asked for exactly what he wanted (ball, flake, cylindrical, and what spec, or actual blackpowder). I can imagine him not knowing what he didn't know and the clerk realizing that he was not the typical reloading customer, probably didn't want any other reloading supplies. Hopefully future IED makers will not learn from his stupidity.
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Abdo's words in court were a sharp contrast to an essay he wrote last year as the first anniversary of the Fort Hood shootings approached and as he petitioned for conscientious objector status. In the essay, obtained by The Associated Press, Abdo said the attacks ran against his beliefs as a Muslim and were "an act of aggression by a man and not by Islam."

It is this type of behavioral evidence that disturbs me. One day they are a peace loving Muslim and then the next day they turn into an Islamic terrorist.

And CAIR says we are biased and prejudiced. Well, yes, yes I am. By the broad brush application, I don't trust them. One to one, well, we'll see, following a lengthy evaluation period.

Yep. Anders Breivik was quite peaceful - and posted to that effect on documents.no - until he killed 77 people.

And the news certainly wasted no time telling everyone how he was a right-wing Christian...as opposed to the article above that *still* states Hasan's crimes as "alleged".

I am not concerned with the terrorists in Norway. I am worried about the Islamic terrorists in America. I live here and I don't travel there.
