And in other news:

A bull with a rope tied around its scrotum and being ridden by a cowboy is being charged with lewdly exposing its genitals in front of hundreds of innocent children at a rodeo in Omaha, Nebraska.

To correct "other news":

The rope isn't tied around the testicles.

Correct. It's called a *flank* - painful, nevertheless.

How do you know it causes pain?

News:

"A woman wanted to make a statement, so she decorated her truck with a set of red plastic testicles. And now a jury gets to decide if she was exercising free speech or being just obscene.

"Virginia Tice was given a $445 ticket July 5 that accuses her of violating the state's obscene bumper sticker law..."

Actually, the bucking is due to reflex - the pressure mimics a predator that is on the animal's back and trying to get to the belly.

You can get the same reaction with a rear girth on a saddle placed too far back or, with some animals, simple hand pressure.

Neither cause pain.

Oh, I see, just the involuntary terror of being attacked and eaten by a predator.

Whew! Glad to hear that wouldn't cause any physical pain. ;)

And they stop within seconds of the pressure being released - yup, that's some terrified critters stampeding around the arena, alright.

I refer you (again) to the first rule of holes, Paul - stop digging.

I love how they "pixelate" the nutz in the video report, presumably so a viewer won't be able to recognize who's nutz they are.

These are the same kinds of imbeciles who would pixelate Michelangelo's David or cover the Spirit of Justice not realizing that by doing so they make a far bigger statement about themselves than the artwork ever would. Sigh.

crappy poll choices

offensive or not

has nothing to do with allowing it to be

I wonder if nude chick mud flaps are allowed and if they are, does that mean the thinks his daughter should see those? ;) Kinda weird.

The quality of the highly artistic "angel and devil" window decals is always improving too! Last ones I saw (at the DZ no less) had the girls in platform stripper shoes (yes, I notice those things) and clear prominent nipples (I notice those things too!)

I don't find them offensive, but I can see where many people would (for example, I wouldn't have something like that where my grandma could see it). I didn't vote because the idea of banning things just feels weird to me. That said, if I stuck a huge red plastic vagina from my differential, I would expect to get pulled over. Would it be a double standard? Probably, genitals are genitals. It's just that far more people are offended by vaginas than a swinging coin purse. One thing to think about though is this, could you get away with displaying a larger than life model of any other genitalia in public?

BOOBIES!
