That is a negative ghostrider.
You have no idea what I pay monthly and the kind of service I receive from my private insurer. It's highly unlikely that the Federal government could provide me the same coverage and level of service for the price I pay now.
Look, No one is suggesting that you couldn't keep the coverage you have right now with your current provider.
The suggestion on the table is that all Americans have access to health care.they do already
Do you support that ideal?
I bet you do !Not if the gov is running it
I'll bet that if you were crusin down the road and came upon a fellow human who had been badly beaten you'ld load him in your car and take him to the hospital. Happens all the time today. And they get the treatment they need

Quotethey're the ones who lined their pockets as they brought the financial system down - and then expected us to bail them out...
The financial system was not brought "down". Have you been to the US lately? There is a bank on every corner, interest rates are still much lower then they were 30yrs ago, home prices are the lowest ever, and most who "lost it all" in their 401K have recovered + some. You're such a pessimist. You should create a post and mention 10 positive things, instead of constantly bashing a Country in which you don't even live..

How will it be paid for? Taxes? Investments? Donations? Charity? Money doesn't just pop up out of nowhere.
that's why your inefficient private system needs upgrading. at the moment you spend more than any other country yet get only mediocre healthcare results for the vast sums you spend...
I'm other words you have no idea where the funding will come from.
I pay my own health insurance and am very happy with the care I get, thank you.
Yes, Kallend, f*** those who won't earn a paycheck. They are more than willing to f*** me over. As for those who can't earn their way, I already donate ~10% of my income to charity.

Dude who's giant ass are you pulling this data from? You just said: "The Cost to the Economy will be Less than It is at the Moment" -? what does that even mean? Please keep your big gov hands off of the thousands of well paid medical employees here in North East Ohio thank you very much.

Good for her for adopting an unwanted child!

If you're saying that having a lot of kids means you're irresponsible - I don't agree at all. You have a responsibility to support them. But if your attitude is "anyone who has a big family isn't supporting their children" you are way off base.
You live in fantasy land.
You must be right her son had 16 kids with multiple mothers. He supports every single one of them with no support from the state.
Or in reality land I work in one of the shitiest cities in the country. Her son went and knocked up multiple women to end up with 16 kids that are basically being raised in single mother welfare funded households.
It is not the kids fault, but don't tell me it doesn't cost a ton of money to pay for someone elses poor choices. Welfare, state insurance, and a perpetuation of the bullshit cycle that we reward and encourage.

Everything is going the shit because of those damn bankers. Since TARP is threating to bankrupt the country maybe we should go to something better, like a Castro style communism system, or maybe we could just get rid of money all together and go back to a barter economy.
Damn evil bankers. They even shit on my rug!

Tell me what have the bankers cost you. You must have been impacted by the bankers "poor choices".
I don't think the bankers have impacted you much at all, they really haven't impacted me.
My 401K has mostly recovered. Most of TARP has been paid back so I don't expect much flow through impact from that.
Those piece of shit bankers lent me 190K for my last house at a nice interest rate.
They lent me some money to go to college as well when I was back in school. No free federal college money for me.
Sure they were drinking the KoolAide with the subprime debacle. Guess what the Federal government you love as the perfect model of effeciency pushed the banks to lend to people they shouldn't have. And the home owners who bought the houses were drinking the KoolAide too!
Those evil fucking bankers!
Maybe I don't think they are so evil because I live within my means. I took out loans so I could go through college and get a better paying job. I pay all my bills, and I try to make smart financial descions.
Or we could take the easy way out and just blame all those evil bankers.

Which bankers are you so mad at. Just curious because it is such a broad term. Commercial bankers, like your local bank? the guys who give car and home loans to people?
or is it the bankers that raise capital for small firms to grow? like IPO's and secondaries?
or bankeres that create short term debt for companies to make payroll every week?
or bankers who underwrite bonds for communities to build bridges and tunnels?
or the Monopoly man? i hate him too! With his fancy suit and bags of money. I just know he is a crooked bastard.
Do you know what a banker is or are you just using it as a general term to describe anyone you dont like who works in finance?
You do know that Mortgage PM's who bought bad loans and lost the firms tons of money aren't actually bankers? they are Portfolio Managers and/or Traders who work in banking. If i was as angry as you, thats who i would be angry at.

No need to get all specific about things, it is just rude.
It is much easier (read lazier), to make generic off the cuff comments.

QuoteWhite, blue-eyed bankers are entirely to blame for the world financial crisis that has ended up hitting black and indigenous people disproportionately, the president of Brazil declared .
In an outspoken intervention as Gordon Brown stood alongside him, Luiz Inacio "Lula" da Silva pledged to make next week's G20 summit "spicy" as he accused the rich of forcing the poor into greater hardship.
"This crisis was caused by no black man or woman or by no indigenous person or by no poor person," Lula said after talks with the prime minister in Brasilia to discuss next week's G20 summit in London.
"This crisis was fostered and boosted by irrational behaviour of some people that are white, blue-eyed. Before the crisis they looked like they knew everything about economics, and they have demonstrated they know nothing about economics."
Challenged about his claims, Lula responded: "I only record what I see in the press. I am not acquainted with a single black banker."

Not really a response to my questions but I do appreciate you narrowing it down to only white bankers. So i guess the bankers at Ramirez and Kaufman Bros(non white minority banks) are in the clear. they will be relieved to know that they have been excused from blame in your mind.
Or do they not exist, after all if your guy hasn't met them then they dont actually exist, right? someone should tell their customers that they don't exist.
