shah269 0 #5 May 16, 2011 I have lived with the prospect of an early death for the last 49 years. I'm not afraid of death, but I'm in no hurry to die. I have so much I want to do first. I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark. That is one way of looking at it. On the other, we are electrical machines, and the question as to where the "spark" goes is interesting.Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!

Odds are nothing. But I for one was kind of hoping for hell. I mean after all name one "cool" person in heaven! You know the Stones aren't going up. Elvis? Sex Pistols? Iggy Pop, Lou Reed?
