Dems Furious After Vote Change Gives Lead to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice

The fact was the Bush camp tried to suppress all votes that were not in by the time required by the law. The Gore camp tried to suppress only those votes that he figured would be against him and give him additional time to find those votes
that would be in his favor.

I suspect that yoy have zero problem with it. Your side does it = admirable. The other side does it = repugnant. The other side says, "None of them are valid - even those that could be in my favir" = bad. Your side says, "Mine should have been valid but not his" = good.

It seems to be what you are saying.

Wrong assumption yet again.. but I expect nothing more from you Jerry.

The fact that many jurisdictions supporessed votes with outdated machines with very few of them in traditionally minority area's and done so by republicans in charge of those districts should be reprehensible to you.

A company owner of Diebold promishing to deliever the votes for Bush....

Machines that could and were falsified.... Well done... win at any cost.

Count the votes. Count ALL the votes... I know that is a simple concept but it seems that the Republican party of today has a problem with that.

So should I take it to say that you were against all of the votes Obama supporters suppressed during the primaries when they threw out all the Hillary Votes? You were also against the Black Panthers sitting out in front of poles intimidating voters? Inquiring minds want to know....

It's a problem that has to be solved ahead of an election. A candidate can't do anything with votes that *might* have been cast.

In the context of talking about 2000 yet again, the only issue at hand is the unreliable counting. That the accuracy of these is greater than the margin of the vote.

ANY process including the despicable practices of the Republican Party Officials in a systematic manner across our country that seeks to suppress ANY VOTES is reprehensible and I do mean by ANYONE. It is UNAMERICAN. PERIOD

I do not care who you are.... its WRONG and shows a lack of belief in our system.

The voting machines? Minority areas getting hosed?

Wow, Jeanne, off the deep end, are ya? I had NO idea thaty the GOP was responsible for voting machines. Indeed, I thought that it was up to the respective counties.

It turns out that minorities typically vote Democrat. These countues are run by Democrats, who decided to use technologies that would hose their constituents.

Tell me, Jeanne, what responsibility the GOP has in giving minorities bad machines.

Also - I note that you changed your tune. Just as I suggested, you have ZERO criticism for the specific acts intended to disenfranchise large portions of the ideological population of Florida by the Gore campaign. Yep, it's okay if Gore does it. It's okay if Dems do it, because if the Dems do it you can blame it on the right wing and then make it bad.

What part of denying ANY citizen the right to vote... are you incapable of understanding:S:S:S:S

You are the research EXPERT.. but I guess you are too incapable to see the abuses in Jeb Bush land that led to many thousands of American citizens being unable to vote. But if it helps the people YOU support win elections.. its all good. ITs uinAmerican.... but you seem to be quite good with it.. as are AOOOO many "so called conservatives" .
You have to ask WHY so many in the republican party go to such lengths to suppress American citizens from voting.

That's my question for you. Why are you blaming the GOP for it? Why are yopu not hammering the Democrats for seeking to disenfranchise voters? Yes, they aren't just "any" voters. They are specifically profiled voters.

You haven't written a peep about it. I wrote that the GOP does it and the Dems do it - ergo foisting blame on one or the other is ridiculous. Not you. Even when the Dems are provably responsible for it you STILL blame the GOP. Yep. Jeb Bush is responsible because had he not been governor then, well, he wouldn't be blamed.

[Reply]WHY so many in the republican party go to such lengths to suppress American citizens from voting.

The GOP does it for the same reason rhe Dems do it - it helps win elections. For you to claim either side is more or less guilty of it is prima facie partisanship. Since I am neither, I have no problem throwing them under the bus. But in 2000 it was Gore who led the way with selctive disenfranchisement. Bush. At least. Sought to disenfranchise equally.

The fact that you and your felloww travellers support the suppression of EVEN ONE vote goes to show just how morally depraved ande racist your party had become. Facts is facts.. but I guess in your mind any way you can lie steal or stack ballot boxes to get a WIN.... is all good.

Gore tried to suppress my vote in 2000 (Active duty, out of State).... Yet some on your side seemed just fine with that.
