Amazing how many of the libs were shitting bricks when W was considering Iraq without congressional approval.

but they're amazingly quiet now, aren't they.

I saw some squawking on the news yesterday by some reported Obama supporters. But for the most part, nothing.

Gee you mean like how Newt" TheSerialAdulterer" Gingrich was FOR the No Fly Zone, before he was agin it.

Actually I was hoping you'd chime in. Your CHICKENHAWK president has put US soldiers in harms way. You OK with that?

CLUELESS as usual... I have never heard Obama continually beating the Drums of War as have the Legions of Conservatards in this country with butt boils to use as an excuse.

He has been reluctant at best going into this.. and has only kept your Glorius Leaders Wars going to prevent far worse consequences, like what happened to Afghanistan after Ronald the Great "won" there and lost the end game.

Personally I would bring all of our people home and let the fuckers get it on with slaughtering each other.. all over the world. Let the other countries of the world lose their children being the "sheriff"

Nice phrasing on your part - cover both sides so that no matter what, you can claim, "Well, this is what I mean." How very Gingrich-esque of you.

Anyhow, your disregard for the facts can be demonstrated by - for example - this:

Liberal Democrats in uproar over Libya action

A hard-core group of liberal House Democrats is questioning the constitutionality of U.S. missile strikes against Libya, with one lawmaker raising the prospect of impeachment during a Democratic Caucus conference call on Saturday.

Reps. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Donna Edwards (Md.), Mike Capuano (Mass.), Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Rob Andrews (N.J.), Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas), Barbara Lee (Calif.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.C.) “all strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” during that call, said two Democratic lawmakers who took part.

aside from your backhanded compliment, my phrasing was apparently not clear. the "they" I referred to in my first line was meant towards the "they" on this forum.

My second line was referring to what you pasted.

take your sideways PA and shove it.

I saw an interview of Kucinich on Al Jazzeer at an airport in Africa a week back. I was hoping he was going to force a test of the War Power Acts and let the courts settle this misappropriation of Constitutional power (dating back to Teddy R) once and for all. But I suppose we still have to wait several more weeks before that can be done.

Unfortunately, when you look over that list of names, most of them are jokes. Yes, Barbara Lee voted against the last war too, but her influence in DC is nil, And Maxine Waters...WTF? I'll give her as much attention as Marrion Barry.

Does anyone know what our exit strategy is for Libya?

Turn on the afterburners.

Rephrase: does anyone know what president Obama's exit strategy and time table are for Libya?

Ps - come on professor, you know the difference between tactics and strategy.

I heard an former military officer (Col, but I don't remember his name) on the radio the other day who stated that having a timetable and exit strategy for Iraq didn't imply that the war was any better planned than what's going on in Libya. He pointed out that the exit strategy and timetable for Iraq were pure fiction. Having a timetable and exit strategy for Libya, while it may be comforting, probably won't have anything to do with what actually happens.

I wish we had stayed out of the conflict in Libya, and I sincerely hope we can extricate ourselves quickly, but not having a timetable of exit strategy doesn't mean much to me.

Pithy.

However, having a "plan" that is unreasonable and that you know you can't and won't follow is not planning.

I would even go so far as to say it is, "planning to fail."

Hey it sure helped the last guy and all his PNAC buddies who got rich to sell the country a large plate of BULLSHIT
