He was weeping pretty hard.

I wonder if he thought the story really was true.

It wouldn't be the first time a politician is told a false story and he runs with it because it fits his agenda - we all hear what we want to hear.

I don't like his politics, but he's one of my congressmen and, to me, he seems like a decent sort still.
