crozby 0 #1 March 8, 2011 I left England for Sydney 6 years ago because I was fed up to the back teeth of: 1. Tony Bliar 2. Seeing nothing for all my tax 3. The bone numbing cold 4. The never-ending rain 5. Tony bastarding Blair Is it safe to return yet?
Skyrad 0 #2 March 8, 2011 LOL... Well we got rid of Tony at last and the new crowd are doing ok apart from Defence and Policing. Its minus 1 outside this morning (Dave stopped paying the weather bill due to the cuts so now we have an extended winter) It hasn't rained for a days in London (I think) and Tony is defiantly gone (I double checked). However if you want meat that tastes like something other than cardboard, blue skies guaranteed in the morning then I might leave it a bit longer if I were you. (Having said that we haven't had any massive fires, earthquakes or floods recently either. Swings and roundabouts I guess) When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. mr2mk1g 10 #4 March 8, 2011 Actually I heard on the radio the other day that we (well, Leeds at least) get's lessrain that Sydney! I suspect it's one of those 'massaged' stats mind as less rain doesn't nesc. mean fewer dry days - I guess it's likely that Sydney gets an absolute downpour every now and again whilst Leeds is drizzley rather more often.
