(So, if you have a 1911 that has to be worked in.... You are SOL)

The only 1911 I've seen that wouldn't do 20 rounds was a VERY tight Gold Cup that had been sitting in a box for a dozen years and was literally bone-dry. Everything else, including a couple of VERY roughly cast Sistemas, was fine, so can we tone back the "Glock Perfection" vibe just a smidge?

Californians are weird...and getting more so as time passes.

Dude, tell me about it...

I never experienced anything like it, and I grew up in Detroit!

Seriously...there is something seriously wrong with that place.

But wtf is up with me wanting to go back there so bad:

Godsmack-VooDoo?

Zeppelin-Good Times Bad Times?

Btw, Here is the first song I've ever learned on the drums - Just wanted to throw that in there.

Nevermind..."The Ocean" by zep just sent me back to reality....

or did it? Going To California
Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

Never said Glocks were perfect, please find ONE comment where I did. But you yourself stated that you knew of an 1911 that needed some run time. Why is it wrong to point out that I have seen others. I have seen several custom 1911's run like crap till around 100 rounds have been through them. For example my buddy had a Les Baer that was this way.

So since you will be unable to find a "Glock perfection" comment from me... Maybe you could turn down your 1911 pride a bit?

So, basically it's a rip-off by Cali to steal funds for testing the major manufacturers already do?

Actually, I think it was designed to be such a hassle that many gun dealers would not bother.

It is regulation by red tape and fees. For example... Kel Tec's cannot be sold new in CA.
