Didn't you hear? The IAU reclassified it. Pluto isn't a crat any more; the correct term is "pluto dwarfcrat."

That is only until we get all that arsenic life shipped out there.

QuoteI have a great sense of wonder in the natural world. It baffles me that you people feel the need to invent an imaginary entity to be in awe of when the things that are actually around us are so much more amazing.
That's a total BS statement...
I love this planets! I love Proximity Flying. You have never experience awe, in nature... until you have flown a wall. And even more, I love flying up the New River Gorge... Some beautiful images that will never leave my head.
Sucks I only get to jump it twice a year...
But see... how did that wall get there... well I know the geology part... I do have an AS degree... soon to be a BS and a Masters. Though, Lincoln never went to college... self taught, self man, Smart Man!
But when you go back far enough... we don't have answers. I want to know...
Michio Kaku always comes to the end point... "and this is the point of, "the God factor."
Just like Billvon's, Casimir Effect... Post Initial Singularity Occurrences... KICKING, DEAD, HORSE.
That doesn't give us the answer

It’s like putting mandarin in from of someone who doesn’t speak it... pointless.
It's more like reading Beatrix Potter to a grown up. You can recognise it's a classic but still, you know that rabbits can't really talk.

No it's not. Max implied that I had no sense of wonder. Well, he is the one that needs to invent things to wonder about. Kinda suggests that it's him who doesn't truly appreciate what's actually around him.
QuoteI love Proximity Flying.
Same here.
QuoteYou have never experience awe, in nature... until you have flown a wall.
That's BS. I love skimming the rock, but I'm not going to be arrogant enough to suggest that no other outdoor sportsmen/women can get to grips with the environment in a similar way.
QuoteBut when you go back far enough... we don't have answers. I want to know...
You can't want to know that badly, otherwise you wouldn't have just made something up.

Naah. You've never _really_ experienced a wall until you've climbed one, yourself.

I love climbing, and seriously cannot wait to start again; it’s been way too long! And BASE intertwines perfectly!
Ski/Snowboard BASE first, wait till after winter...

Fair enough. Not involved in that one, didn’t read over his words a second time before responding to your statement. But as a general statement, it would have been.

Every aspect of nature has its own peak, and most intense experience... where one could say is the most incredible, yet another feel the same of something else. I can only imagine the intensity, and the awe of knowing what you have just done... at the summit of Everest... and the visuals, wow.
Incredible... way up there with proximity flying.
And I will never experience that... If I thought I could do it, I would... yeah, no thanks!

What have I made up?

The true nature and awe inspiring experience is death.
After all - it is the most intense.

As usual, we are talking about two different things. No doubt you have a good grasp on the physical, probably better than most. I am referring to the spiritual. There is no greater experience than to bask in God's love. As far as proximity flying, you guys can have it, but I do love the videos.

Many atheists have a much better understanding of scripture than the douchebags that run around quoting it all the time.
This thread is stupid.

1 Corinthians 2:14
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

You need to realize the absolute lack of value biblical quotes have when the post is directed at a non-believer.
