It really does not matter that you explain that to her. In the rosy glasses that she sees through in life, is all about partisanship, not about being responsible for your own actions. You are at fault if you vote republican, and no issue with you whatsoever if you do so, democrat.

Oh look its THE whoooosh boys yet again. This is the end game for your lack of any kind of fiscal responsibility since 1980.

Sorry but the guy in the big seat in Sacramento does have some power to not spend.

It is just more trickle down stupidity that has done such a great job of running up such huge deficits since 1980. The repubiclowns have embraced spending other peoples money and running up those deficits .

The apologists for the very richest americans keep fooling you into believing that you will get rich too if they can just trickle on you.

How many times do you need to get fooled till you realize you are being fooled????:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

Yep. And there's a $25 billion deficit in Texas run up by your own heroes, the republicans.

The difference is that I am not applauding those who made the mess.

Uh huh bzzzzzt wrong answer
Years Governor Party

"Spend-happy democrats" includes far more than just governors...

You REALLLLLY should keep up John. We did not get to these levels of deficits with any form of the supposed party of fiscal responsibility hacks you have always voted for.Who was it again in power in all 3 branches of government all while your favorite people were fooling you into voting for them all thru the W presidency while he cut taxes and spent even more. I seem to remember your Hero Ronnie RayGun doing the same thing.. promise balanced budgets... SPEND TRILLIONS of money we do not have.

AT what point are you and your fellow travellers going to tire of getting fooled over and over....

What do they call people who are perpetually fooled??????

You're ranting and insulting again.

You shouldn't presume to know for whom I've voted. You were not looking over my shoulder when I was in the voting booth.

The federal government is not in control of the California budget, which is the subject under discussion here.

Calm down. Eat some turkey. This is a day of brotherly love.

OK. You certainly seemed to applaud and defend Delay against all those stupid liberals who thought he might be guilty. If you've changed your mind on that, good for you.

Tom Delay is not the subject under discussion here, so I don't know why you bring him up. Just can't help that partisanship gloating, I guess?

I defended him from those who stated he was guilty before he was actually found guilty. That's the way the American justice system works. I don't feel any need to apologize for that.

Now that the trial has been held and the jury has ruled, so be it. However, that doesn't make those who previously jumped the gun on justice, correct for doing so. That would be like saying that it's okay for a mob to lynch someone, as long as we find out eight years later that the hanged man was actually guilty. And you liberals are the ones who are opposed to the death penalty based upon the idea that convicted murderers might be found innocent in the future, so I would think that you would agree with me on this.

"Well, the ice upon which you Republican-haters have been standing just got much thinner. . .

This is in addition to several other Ronnie Earle indictments already dismissed. The only leg he has left to stand on at this point is the money laundering charge.

The ice is cracking under the feet of the Republican-bashers. They're in danger of being dunked in ice cold water. Are those of you who rushed to condemnation and judgement getting worried yet?"

Looks like someone did indeed get dunked.

So glad I left and moved to Texas.

Funny how in San Francisco, it's OK to give junkies free syringes to shoot up with, but giving toys to children with their McDonald's happy meals would just give the wrong message. [:/]:D

Ha! It's funny you mention that because I am so glad I moved from Texas to San Fran this year! ;)
Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

I think John forgets all the stuff he posts in support of republicans... and then wonders WHY some of us might think he has indeed voted for them time after time since he supports them time after time after time.

BUT.. OMG.. that is somehow bashing him in some way?????:S:S:S
