scruffy 0 #1 November 23, 2010 I just got done reading this article for my foreign policy class and I thought I would share it here. Iraq was the pariah of the Bush administration, and assuming rightly so for him being too bumbling to get his neo-con cronies under control. However, this article has a different perspective. In order to find blame for the "cataclysmic event" of Iraq in the eyes of Alasdiar Roberts, we need to only look in the mirror. I was a little put off by the premise at first as I am a civil libertarian (what Roberts calls a "neo-liberal") and directly at the root of the problem in this revisionist view; however, I have to say it was pretty well argued and was worth the 15 minutes I took unpacking it. http://www.britannica.com/bps/additionalcontent/18/27264702/The-War-We-Deserve There is a "view full PDF" button on that link.
