beowulf 1 #2 November 16, 2010 One thing that he said stands out to me. He said and I paraprase, if the Palestinians put down their weapons and quit fighting then there would be peace, but if the Isrealis put down their weapons and quit fighting then they would be destroyed. I think that is pretty much true. Everything the Palestinians do and say supports this. They have no interest in coexisting with the Israelis. If the Palestinians wanted peace they would have it. They need to put the past behind them and deal with the situation as it is now. To be clear I don't think the Israelis are angels. They have not dealt with situation very well either, but from what I can see of the situation the Palestinians are driving the violence. They use every excuse in the book to justify their hate of Israelis and the violence.

I have two things to say to that: 1 - 2 - ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

You have only to watch Arab television to see the extent of the "Death to Israel" stuff that is pumped out 24x7 over here. The Palestinians tone it down for Western consumption. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."

It was a preemptive strike to try to dissuade you from the regular drivel. ________________________________ "1981 to 1988 is 7 years"-Kallend (oops, it's actually 8 years Kallend) The decade of the 80's was from 1980 to 1989. 10 years.
