happythoughts 0 #1 November 16, 2010 TSA Opt Out Day - Kilts National Opt Out Day is a plan for Nov 24th, the busiest day of the year. You opt out of the scanner and choose to get the "frisky frisk" about your naughty bits. This guy has come up with a novel twist. Traveling without underwear is not illegal. Show up wearing a kilt sans underwear. Perhaps a little Vaseline applied in little clumps... That should get that party started.

Especially when they can completely ruin your day. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

They've been lying about the storage of images, and did themselves fewer favors with the violent incident stemming from making fun of someone who went through it. And then the child porn - won't someone think of the children!? I think the other thing to do is insist that a woman officer be the one to check my balls. If it's not appropriate to make her do it, it's not appropriate to subject me to it either.

davjohns 1 #13 November 16, 2010 I love this idea. Wish I hadn't let my kilt go now. At one point, they were pulling people aside (random?) to pull everything out of their carry-on. I always got stopped. Young, caucasian male with military bearing and haircut carrying a camoflage bag, military ID and traveling on government orders. I finally told them that the next time they did that, my bag would be full of adult themed novelty items and I would turn each of them on and leave them running on the table for everyone to see just so it would be clear they weren't secretly explosive devices. Oddly, that's the same time they quit doing that.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

davjohns 1 #15 November 16, 2010 Can you request a particular agent to frisk you? Personally, I would be offended by a man touching my groin...not so much with a woman. Maybe if they hired attractive women to do the searches, it would go better. Not sure the same tactic would work for the women, though.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. skyrider 0 #16 November 16, 2010 I'd prefer an ugly woman to anyman....I'd care less how she looked! If they do not allow women to search men, or men to search women, then..... Couldn't a gay person yell Rape?

davjohns 1 #18 November 16, 2010 I had that same thought. Even though I am quite straight, I would probably moan and carry on while being frisked just to mess with the person. davjohns 1 #21 November 16, 2010 At the end, you announce loudly to everyone in line that this agent gives 'happy endings' with his frisks. One of my people pointed out that TSA is merely staying in line with the 'stimulus package'. We just misunderstood that the point was to stimulate the package.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Mouse rolly wheel has a mind of its own. http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Industry=Police_Agency/Salary Now, take into account larger cities, the ones that typically have the larger airports. Those officers and firemen in those towns are starting closer to $50k. Those TSA flunkies are still starting at $37k. How far does $37k a year get you in LA or Chicago?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
