turtlespeed 226 #126 November 17, 2010 Quote and we're all waiting for the illegal settlement building to stop. either it does or the us loses face big time. It is only illegal if there is a law against it.Could you please cite the law that indicates their actions as illegal, please. I'm still waiting. If you cannot produce such a law, just say that you cannot do so.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Is it : A) Liberal best intentions B) Actual laws C) Agreement with crazy ass hammas D) Agreement with the PA E) For the children?"According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
Southern_Man 0 #129 November 17, 2010 Quote Quote Quote i agree with Yehuda Shenhav (meanwhile while you flounder with your history please remind us how many jews have ended up stateless compared to the millions of palestinians) They are stateless because their Arab "brothers" will not accord them basic human rights, the Jordanians only excepted. they are stateless because israel expelled them from their homes to create a majority jewish state. They abandoned their homes in order to join with their Arab brothers in an attack to destroy Israel. The ones who did not abandon their homes and did not attack Israel are today Arab citizens of Israel. There is nothing preventing Arab countries from welcoming Palestianians and grangting them full human rights and citizenship. These other countires have chosen not to do so. The Palestrinians are treated worse in other Arab countries and have less rights than the Palestinian citizens in Israel."What if there were no hypothetical questions?" Can you do that? Can you produce ANY evidence besides your feelings that the building is illegal? Or will you just deflect some more?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
juanesky 0 #135 November 17, 2010 Don't bother with the facts with these people, they only see one side of things. I have been there, and has confirmed a lot of the stuff I have been reading about. However your assertion about Jordan, needs to be checked, as they also have "quelled" by bloody means, palestinian refugee camps in black september. I would not assert that Jordan has been anywhere near perfect but they have on the whole been a welcoming country for Palestinians refugees and have granted many of them rights and citizenship. Much better than the other Arab governments, who quite frankly use the whole Israel/Palestinian conflict as a way to deflect attention from their own shortcomings."What if there were no hypothetical questions?" juanesky 0 #146 November 17, 2010 No, turtle's question is very valid, your comment about the Iran situation is the straw. Let see if you can keep on topic. What makes the home building in those areas "ILLEGAL"? Is it a UN resolution, a law we can trace, what when where can we find it. You should not use your "feelings" to answer it, please find facts."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon

Tell you what: instead of just barking back in an immediate post, take your time, hit Google or whatever (but not alternet ), do your research, and then come back and give us your results.
