So it's reasonable to assume ET will come, just not to Denver? Of all the things we might ever spend money on, this would be at about the bottom of my list, because the odds of needing it during the lifetime of the city of Denver is pretty low compared to things like, say, needing a fire department. But it's not idiotic to consider it, IMO. Consider it . . . by all means, consider it, don't waste time in a ballot box with it. Exactly! ...and it's definitely not something that should receive funding, especially now. BUT....Now may be the biggest window, with Obama''s administration throwing tax payer money around like candy at a christmas parade , could be why they thought they had a chance! CanuckInUSA 0 #28 November 3, 2010 Quote they're here , and they want to vote... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_noncitizen_voting As long as they are paying taxes and are not criminals, why shouldn't "legal non-citizen residents" be allowed to vote in municipal elections? I can understand why "non-citizens" should NOT be allowed to vote federally, but municipal elections are a totally different can of worms. Quite honestly (at least where I live) my municipal politicians screw me more than the politicians higher up the food chain. Quote i find it bizarre that someone who entertains the notion of ET without a shred of evidence , rejects the possibility of God with evidence. The universe is too big and beyond my comprehension for me to know for a fact that there IS or IS NOT a God. Because of this, I always will be agnostic (something completely different than being an atheist). Please respect my right to be totally confused as to the origins and depths of the universe and respect my right to reject man made religions. If we are the only ones in the universe, it is an awful waste of space. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

OTOH, it's also close to an airport purported to contain secret government facilities. Maybe some one knows something they're not yet sharing?
