Their humorous slant on news topics is refreshing. I'm not a Colbert fan but I watch Stewart whenever possible. I think his writers are a hoot and I've seen them lay into the left as well. Having a problem with Dems recruiting at this event is like having a problem with Willie Sutton robbing banks. Please don't dent the planet. juanesky 0 #3 October 30, 2010 Funny that the DNC is so desperate that they depend on comedians to attract people for these elections. jakee 1,611 #4 October 30, 2010 Depend on? Like, they recruited Stewart to hold a rally so they could recruit his followers at the rally? Or were they just taking advantage of an opportunity? (I worked for a {centre right - yes, really} candidate in the run up to the UK's general election: we recruited anyone we could, wherever we could, whenever we could. And we weren't desperate, we won our constituency by a landslide. You can never have too many volunteers on the books.)Do you want to have an ideagasm?
