turtlespeed 226 #1 October 15, 2010 suing the federal government in regards to the healthcare bill? Doesn't the man that was so instrumental in shoving it down the American people's throats, have support from his own state?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

turtlespeed 226 #3 October 15, 2010 QuoteBecause the attorney general reports to the state governor, not the US senator. So they have seen that it is a bad idea and do not support Reid's decisions?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
billvon 3,120 #4 October 15, 2010 >So they have seen that it is a bad idea and do not support Reid's >decisions? In general, republicans tow the party line and do not support anything Obama does, no matter what it is. So more likely is that they have seen that suing the federal government will help their party score political points (which, of course, is why you posted it - so it apparently works.) In other news, the republican governor of Indiana, Mitch Daniels, has said that he does not support the law, but will take advantage of the benefits that it provides for his state. He gets the best of both worlds - he can make clear his opposition to it, thus fulfilling his obligations to his political party, and still reap the rewards. Sound familiar? Democrats NEVER do that, do they? Why even bring that point up? >>So more likely is that they have seen that suing the federal government will help >>their party score political points (which, of course, is why you posted it - so it >>apparently works.) Actually - the Governer asked her (Attny Gen Masto) to "Join" in, and she didn't. It took a candidate in the upcoming attny gen. election (Now favored) to deliver the suit.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
