Anyone who has lost a family member (in my case my father) to this kind of disease knows how difficult it is simply to get through each day without some sadist trying to make your life worse ... I am amazed at the dignity of the little girls father and family, they have shown their true character... I hope some good things happen to them and that they find some happiness and brightness in their life ... As for the others ... Let's hope Karma finds a way of paying them back for their actions... ltdiver 3 #33 October 17, 2010 Just saw this thread and with each word of the report more and more anger surfaced here. As you know, my grandfather suffered with this disease for 30+ years. Symptoms started around age 40 and progressed from there. I'm so sorry that a young woman, and how her daughter, have to deal with Huntingtons at so young and age. This disease is horrible, and those who are not educated can actually believe the writhing symptoms are 'devil produced'. That they are possessed. I'm not saying that is what Petkov believed, however it makes me very sad if she did. I'm very angry about her actions, and at the same time very sad for her ignorance. I think her punishment should be to get mental help, in a locked facility, and be subjected to studying this disease and all its manifestations. Ugh. She needs help. Lots of it.
