Victim told police. motivation for the defendants appears to have been. All phrases from the article. The only things presented as facts are the actions and observations of police and DA. What, do you expect every article about rape to jump up and scream "but all we know is they had sex and she CLAIMS she didn't consent, she could've gotten those bruises anywhere" before going to press? They left plenty of room for readers to understand that this is presented as Victims says "X", police observations and collected evidence appears to support "X", one suspect in coustody with no known statement to confrim or deny "X", and other suspect still at large.
