I wonder how many "conservatives" who blather on and on about moral values have traveled ANYWHERE and seen what is in print and on television there. Amazon 7 #9 September 23, 2010 Quote Quote no matter how much it pisses off those who like getting trickled on from the pulpits. You mean when Obama speaks from his? I was not aware of him speaking of morality from pulpits in thousands of churches across America every Sunday morning, and pushing that agenda on EVERYONE. That form of politics has far more control of the collective minds of America than anything else in this land. I did hear about him addressing the nation’s children, welcoming them back to school, staying in school and extolling the virtues of an education. I KNOW that goes against the dumb as dirt and proud of it crowd as well as their usual "all you need is belief in Christ" mantra but they did not even want their children to hear that much.I think his message is a far more realistic message of how to succeed in America. So you wouldn't have a problem with me and a partner walkin down the street naked past a playground as my penis flopped about? What if we had real free sex and did it right on the picnic table and put up a sign inviting anyone or everyone to join in?There are enough places to have sex and do what you want with whoever you want without having to throw it in our faces. Oh, and ya....real healthy as I lie in my death bed with blisters on my genitals and suffer from orificial ooze. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are... Wear whatever you like. >What if we had real free sex and did it right on the picnic table and put up >a sign inviting anyone or everyone to join in? That would be pretty sleazy. But if you feel you have to do that, go ahead. (Of course, if you ask a kid to join in, their parents will assist you on your resulting trip to see the police.) >There are enough places to have sex and do what you want with >whoever you want without having to throw it in our faces. Call it cliche...I don't really care. Sounds like my cousin who homeschooled his children. He did a wonderful job in preparing them for a great life in the 19th century. They have the social skills of a gnat in their ability to deal with anyone outside their church. I do not think my young cousins are prepared for life in this century though. It is quite obvious he cared... and quite obvious that you also do care to not have them subjected to reality. Is that very different from the Muslims who wish to return everyone to a wonderful 7th century Caliphate with the same kind of strictly defined morality??? How scared for life they are.... and not constantly seeking peeks of those "boobies" that so many here see as something so horrible to show, yet so many of the same people are desirous that they fund a huge industry. tsk tsk tsk

billvon 3,120 #23 September 23, 2010 >You are endorsing that there should be no repsposibility . . . There absolutely should be responsibility in public. If you break something public (street sign, table etc) you fix it. If you dirty something (dog poops somewhere, whatever) you clean it up. If you hurt someone, you might just end up in jail. >or modesty in public anywhere? There _should_ be modesty in public. However, it should not be legislated - because what's acceptable to you is unacceptable to someone else. Imagine how pissed off you'd get if someone in your local neighborhood got a law passed that said women had to cover their faces - because a lot of people in your neighborhood thought that would be modest.
