Regardless of whether another poster said that, it looks like the analogy fails. I'm guessing it's about the NYC mosque, and if that's the case, then privately held guns are not like a large place of worship. Owning a gun isn't like a streetfront building. You could compare NRA convention to a mosque, or shooting ranges, or maybe gun shops. But comparing the right to buy a gun to a building doesn't really match up. To make an analogy to owning or buying guns, you'd have to use owning and buy a Koran, or prayer beads, or something small and private.
